Turn off knock?

Is there a way to turn off knock on/off? It constantly wakes up my phone in my pocket at work. It ends up getting unlocked then running apps.

Is there a way to remove the sound bar from the notification tray? I don't want it there. No reason other than it annoys me.

Thanks in advanced.

I don't know if you can turn it off, but you can enable Knock CODE, which is a pattern of knocks, which will keep it from unlocking accidentally. Or if you don't like that (it's pretty slick), you can set your unlock to 'swipe', so the knock just wakes it up to a locked screen, and you have to swipe to unlock the phone. That's my setting right now, and it's handy if you just want to check time to double tap and stow

I got the sound bar away.
I have tried knocking code. It still wakes up the screen. Sometimes it unlocks. I have it on pin now. It still wakes it up but doesn't unlock. Its still draining my battery. I've looked in each setting menu. Nothing to turn it off. I'm moving back to my Note 3.

I seem to get a worse Wi-Fi signal with the G3 too. my note will have 4 Wi-Fi bars and the G3 will have two. It's weird.

Forgive me if they've changed this on the G3 (quoting the menu options on my G2 here) but I have an option to disable knock on at settings > Gestures.

edit: looked around and I believe that option doesn't exist on the G3. Several people have been accessing the hidden menu where there appears to be an option to disable it.

edit2: for TMO, I believe that'd be entering 3845#851# into your dialer?

I did try that. I guess the T-Mobile version doesn't have it cause it's not in the hidden menu.

I did get into the secret menu. There's just no option for knock code off. I looked through all of the options too.

Understood it was at settings > update touch firmware. Just helped a guy do this on an 851 last night so I'd like to believe its there somewhere. If you still don't see it, could you list the options. Might be helpful to troubleshoot.
