Root [International] A good KitKat ROM for i9300?

Do you mean these Recents btw? uploadfromtaptalk1401405886071.jpg
I don't even use them. If your rom has "Omni Switch" use that instead.
If you want my fav s3 rom yet (Vanir) let me know n I'll upload it

Anyone had any trouble with the GPS on kitkat? I've used Neatrom and resurrection remix and both have relentlessly lost signal whilst out running. It's so annoying I've gone to 4.3 instead.

Also, I'm on Virgin pay monthly, and my phone won't accept the APN for virgin, it'll only connect to t mobile, which usually isn't a problem, but when on kitkat the internet just keeps seeming to stop working.

There's a team working on a port of the stock note 2 kitkat rom for the i9300 but from what I've read a lot is still broken.
I assume you're talking about ArchiPort.

I've been running ArchiPort Preview 5 for over a week now and find it as stable as stock 4.3

I've had none of the freezes or random reboots reported in the XDA thread but this may be due to me deleting all system apks that I don't need to free up system space and stop unnecessary ram hogging apps running in the background - I usually have over 100MB of free ram.

If you're a flashaholic, I highly recommend giving it a try ;-)

I used to run TW ROMs cos of the better camera, and multi window and something else I forgot lol. But AOSP has moved on a lot and I don't miss TW at all, although camera still wasn't doing it for me so I bought Snap HDR instead.
Is the problem with the camera that it produces worse picture quality than a Touchwiz ROM or just the functionality of the camera?

I use the camera a lot so good image quality is a must.

(currently unrooted, but fed up with the treacle like performance at the moment so considering root & ROM)

Cheers.
