Help Assign "silent ring" to certain contacts ??

I will preface this by saying my LG G2 on T-mobile is my first smartphone and I am a senior citizen. Hopefully, this won't be too silly but ...

Is there a way to assign a "silent" ringtone to only certain contacts. If so, how or where would I do that? I did find a link for the silent ring but I have no idea of how or where to store it. When playing it (lol, no sound) the options are to do it via "Music" or "StreamPlayer".

Thanks in advance. (My tech savvy-ness was back when Lotus1-2-3 was popular, lol.)

Tap Menu (3 dots in the corner).
Select 'Set ringtone'.
Select 'None'.

The phone will not ring for that contact. If vibrate is on, it will still vibrate.

Interesting... I checked for that option before I posted my reply, and checked again after reading your reply. That option doesn't exist on my phone. Must be a Sprint thing. Who'd a thunk? :thinking:
