Root PLEASE HELP. major booboo when trying to partition. used Aparted and Link2SD

guys I looked all over and couldn't find a releveant thread for this to the best of my knowledge so i'm sorry if I did miss it

okay I screwed up and didn't bother to use my brain and take my time, sooo

I have the LG L70 (metro pcs) and I tried using Aparted and had no idea what i was doing even after downloading the manual because it wasn't written well, in my opinion. but i did what the instructions said and it seemed to work but it still didn't help. I have superuser and busybox installed currently but nothing else

then I used link2SD and i screwed something up, so basically at this point my phone is working fine, but space wise I can't download ANYthing from the app store, even though my storage says I have 176mb current.

so I believe that I messed up my storage settings somehow, and that the partition is also screwed up. I don't have link2SD on my phone currently, I'm assuming I should be able to put the apps needed on my PC and then move them onto the SD card from the PC, correct? haven't tried it yet as my wifes laptop is the only pc we have that has a slot for the SD adapter and I won't have access to it till this weekend

so i hope this is fixable and if you can spell it out for this noob it would be rediculously appreciated lol

Here is what I did. I apparently made way too many system backups. Go to CWM and look in the backup section to see how many you have. Delete what is not needed THEN go in and change the destination of your new/future back ups to external sd.
Let me know if this helps. I know I need things DUMBED down a bit for me so I hope I made this easy to follow for you and anyone else in a bind.

And follow this vid for Aparted https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PePryYhspdk

unfortunately I have no way to download anything from the store, is there a way to get CWM on my pc then do it that way? I can't get anything from google, keep getting the insufficent storage issue

Try to remove any downloads of ROMs, Kernels, or anything else you see in your file manager that is a duplicate or not being used. Get rid of a few user apps. I had the same problem till about three o'clock yesterday, almost gave up until I saw four huge files on my INTERNAL SD card and deleted them. Im happier than a puppy with two peckers now that I fount them and removed them. I have 1.26 GB free space now and I can download and INSTALL all I want now. REMEMBER...Follow that video and make sure you have aparted, folder mount pro and link2sd pro installed. You wanna be a happy puppy:D, do as I did, you hopefully get the results youre looking for.

Why couldn't you list the huge files you found on internal storage so others can also make room to resolve similar problems? Please understand this is why we come on here, to get help with things that prevent us from using our phones to there full capacity.
You are right, Im sorry I forgot to tell you what the huge files were. What I found were 2 backups of my system (I did these just before installing the ROM zip) and 2 Kernel zips that I downloaded too many times because I couldnt find it. So, make the back up, time stamp and date it or name it, make sure it is pointed to the external SD in the download/storage path, then delete all of the obsolete back ups that are in the Internal SD...OR vice versa.

I went through every file on internal and I have no huge files in my internal, nothing rom, kernel or otherwise as of yet, only stuff of any size in there is my vcf call info for my contacts and my ringtones which totals barely 13mb. as I stated I used aparted to partition and then went to link2sd and f'd it up so my phone will now not let me download squat even if I have room for something even small as 2mb

I need to find a way to put the aparted and link2SD (and I have the pro version of Link2SD ready and waiting) on my phone, can't download from the store, phone won't allow it. I watched the video until it got to the part about installing, as I've said, can't do it.

Are you planning to put a ROM on it? If so, I hate to say this but doing a factory reset is in your future in order to install the new ROM so you can always get it out of the way and do it now. Then do the Aparted by following the video, then get the ball rolling. I know that shouldnt be an answer or a solution to your troubles but its all I got. Sorry man.

okay so I did find out that I had the family guy game that was over 500mb but not installed on my downloaded list in the apps section, and deleted it, then I said, okay, try to get aparted and link ONE MORE FRIGGIN TIME....AND IT WORKED lol (which is beyond annoying since aparted is barely 4mb and I had well over 150mb last night. grrrr)

thanks for the info jerry, very much appreciated, i'll follow the video to the letter once I get home tonight and i'll hopefully be all set. I knew I could count on you guys here, love this site

okay, link2SD and Aparted complete exactly how the video said, I haven't done anything with regards to folder mount as I haven't downloaded any huge games yet. all worked fine, BUT now I'm getting issues with updating the 2 apps that are left to update and it won't let me, giving me the same error again. did I miss something?

I partitioned with 10,500mb fat32, the rest on ext2, followed the video to the letter. found out that the gamefly app and facebook don't work well when linked so I removed the link, now they're fine

Change your ext2 to ext4 and which error are you getting exactly?

Embarrassingly enough, the same stupid one i started with lol, insufficient space. I honestly didnt think it would have mattered if i did it with ext 2, seeing as theres more than one option.

Can you post up some screenshots? Let's nail this problem. Screenie your apps list (in settings) for me, eh?

Also did you try foldermount yet? Make sure after pairing up the little pin in foldermount's app list is green for your desired games

man I don't know how to follow directions well, do i. I just did folder mount like you said. and I moved everything that was a game that had a large amount of data. I also made sure to have the pin green on the right of each game.

regarding link2SD, is the install location supposed to be on auto, internal or ext? doesn't seem to make a diff at this point.

to make sure i know what you're asking, that's alot of screenshots if you mean everything I have, or just the downloaded section, or games? and how do I put the photos here? only thing I see is a link option

Not sure about gamefly, but Facebook works well as long as you don't link the internal data.

Firstly, there's a trick to move the Google apps (Chrome, etc.) To your SD card, uninstall them, then reinstall them from the play store, link them up with Link2SD. And the thing I did to save Max space, was to tap the menu in Link2SD and select everything that was linkable, basically I hit select all, but I was mindful of the apps I knew wouldn't play well with my SD card, so you select all, but Deselect your desired ones.

Ok, brings me to this question... Any Idea what is causing not one or two apps but ALL of my apps to drag a$$? I mean its like my phone took a hefty dose of valium. I click to open an app or email or photos or ANYTHING and I have to sit and wait for it to fire up, not responding very snappy like.
