UNDER THE DOME: "Best TV Scifi Since Twilight Zone!" Whose Watching?!?

Saw it for the first time last night. That was a really good episode! It definitely got me hooked "Oh what's going to happen next?!"

Definitely has a lot of King's favorite themes, like seclusion and creepy people (perfect mix for horror).

Somehow I missed it last night. Are they showing repeats anytime soon?

AFAIK, you can watch it on Amazon if you are a Prime subscriber.

I missed the last episode too. Amazon? cool. will check. Ive also just learned of another view site (learned from one of my bestest buddies)

I actually watched the most recent episode, largely out of morbid curiosity about how badly the book had been mangled. Let's see, critical research failure on a medical issue, very hamfisted deus ex machina, and repeated instances of "a real human being just wouldn't do that in this situation". When the most realistic depiction of human behavior is a near-riot and looting....

Same here. I haven't been able to keep up watching the past few episodes.

I have been able to watch Breaking Bad though!

I haven't caught an episode of it yet but i'm always looking for new good shows.

Yes, I am going to catch up starting this week and BREAKING BAD is on my NETFLIX SEASON LINEUP!

Bearsy Check out the NETFLIX: What Are You Streaming Discussion! Tons of Links and suggested movies and shows to watch on Netflix.

SOme have set up their own "season line up" filling in slots to watch certain movies weekly nightly, etc..

I watched the last two episodes last night against my better judgement. Shouldn't have wasted my time. The first few episodes were ok, can't believe how badly they went off the tracks after that. Nothing these characters do has any relation to how real people would act in this situation. Let's see, you're trapped in a dome, a bunch of weird crap is going down, people are getting killed and fighting over food and water, but everybody cheerfully hands their guns over because "Big Jim" made a radio announcement? Lol! The lady cop has to be the stupidest woman on Earth, she believes the sleazy car salesman who she knows is corrupt over Barbie, who she knows has basically single-handedly saved everybody in town at least seven times? (okay, I exaggerate lol) Junior can't keep his hands off of his mini dome lol.
I think what happened is when the network told the writers there would be a second season, they had to scramble and figure a way to stretch out the story. They failed miserably.

yea, its on episode 10? i wanna say, its on monday nights 9pm central.

If you were following the show with the book.. you can stop because it has become completely different, which is good. I missed last nights episode but its a pretty good season so far

Watched last nights episode where the sphere stopped "spinning or moving around " - BUT - started shifting inward - as if it will eventually crush everyone as the sphere gets smaller!

I had given up on this show after the terrible second half of last season. I decided to give it another shot when I heard that Stephen King had written the first episode. I have to say, it has definitely gotten better this year. The characters now act like some semblance of actual human beings. (albeit mentally challenged ones lol)
They seem to be ignoring a lot of stuff that happened last season. I guess Big Jim gets a pass for killing all those people and trying to hang Barbie for it. Now he's the sheriff lol! Never mind that Junior kidnapped his girlfriend and locked her in the bomb shelter, he's cool to be a deputy?
Still, it's been entertaining if you turn your brain off before you start watching. Plus I love the gorgeous Julia Shumway and her beautiful fiery red hair.

Youve hit the entire series from the first opening scee to Last Monday's episode! . I hope the rest of the season is similar or better then th!s week which was good. I got tired of the kidnap series and the orig sherrif 'Breaking Bad Boy'.

Like @pbf96 says - its not the book version going forward..should be totally fresh and unexpected here on.
