Note 3 and Note 4 prediction

Being bold in my own mind here:

Still seems the Note 3 and Note 4 will be a net zero when comparing. The Note 3 already has a nice display, great performance and battery life. The Note 4 has the 805, but matched with a Qhd display. If the Note 4 is using the same display tech as the S5 Qhd, it should have the same battery life as the Note 3. Ditto on performance due to the Qhd offsetting the 805 gains.

If both priced the same, the Note 4 would probably be King, but not for sure until of course released. The catch is the Note 3 should be $200 less for the 32GB model. Point still seems the Note 4 might not be a compelling update for most Note 3 users that are happy.

Frankly looking for excuses not to like the Note 4 and get the lower cost Note 3 ;)

I like the new multitasking abilities of the Note 4 and the ability to take a pic of text and manipulate the text.
If the Note 4 gets rooted I will most likely upgrade from my Note 2, paying retail to keep my unlimited data.

I don't really need the bootloader unlocked as long as I have root since I can still use busybox, lmt, and xposed.

In the Note 4, does anyone have any idea what the real difference ends up being in user experience, between the quad core processor version that it sounds like most of the world will be offered, and the octa core processor that the South Korean market will be offered? Also, what is the reason for Samsung to make the two different versions? And why wouldn't they offer whichever is the 'best' one to all their markets? I'm sure there's a good explanation for that all..

I want to see how the phone works. The note 3 IMHO fails as a phone and excels at everything else. When I make a call i do not want to drop the person I called every other exit. I know no phone is perfect and living in the sticks you have areas that dont work BUT when I drop more calls then I did with the Iphone 4,4s heck even the original droid didnt have this many dropped calls. I am now on my 3rd Note 3 and I am looking forward to getting a phone that works.

I see you're on Verizon like me. The radio build in the kitkat update it's terrible. Check out the Verizon community and xda forums on the topic and you'll see that it's a widespread problem.

When I first got the note 3, I came to the conclusion that the radios were just slightly worse than the note 2 (which was a reception champ.) After the 4.4.2 update, voice and data reception has been atrocious. I'm hoping that Verizon is either working on a patch or just passing on pushing 4.4.3 or 4 out with updated radios.

disappointed that they 4 does not really make much of a splash for me to upgrade. I was hoping it would be water resistant/proof.

happy I don't need to upgrade my NOTE3.

NOTE4 EDGE.. not sure if it will do well.
I still accidently touch the screen when trying to watch vids.
cant imagine what a bitch it will be on the EDGE
