Help Chase bank app not compatible anymore?

This happened to me recently as well. An update to my bank's app required a slightly higher Android version, it went from 2.2.x.x to 2.3.x.x. So I finally installed CM7 on my Motorola, and the bank app works perfectly again, and the phone is much better than it used to be overall. See what the new requirements are for your bank's app now and see if it's possible to upgrade your phone's ROM to still use it.
That's the only way to do it. I seriously doubt complaining to your bank will get them to make it compatible again with lower versions.

Mostly everything is updating to be Gingerbread and up now. Its recommended that you run at least cm7 because, even Google services, are starting to lose support for anything below. If you need any help feel free to ask.

I have an LG Ally and I'm getting the same message saying I can no longer use chase mobile banking. But when I look under my phone info, it says there is no update available. I can't even remember the last time I got notification of an OS update. Is it still possible to update my phone's system? And why have I seemingly been cut off from updates?
