Chrome SMS extension that works with Hangouts

Hi, I am looking for a chrome extension that allows me to send new SMS and reply to existing SMS from the desktop.

However, I use hangouts as my SMS app, not the stock messaging app so Mightytext does not work. Pushbullet also does not work since it does not have the capability of sending new texts.

Are there any other options?

I use Hangouts as my message app and MightyText works just fine. What makes you think you can't use it? Are you getting an error?

I use hangouts and mightytext as well. Works great.

I agree with both of the previous posters here because I use both pushbullet as well as mightytext on my pc and they both work just fine. I believe that it doesn't matter which app you use to send/receive text messages as long as it also has an app that you can install on your pc to correspond to the app on your phone, including hangouts. The messages are going through your phone provider/cellphone number and the apps are only using what phone number you enter when you set things up. Also, you can also use hangouts directly through gmail as well as there is a google chrome hangouts extension that you can install. Hope this helps.

I can receive texts when using hangouts, but whenever I send texts from the computer, it never goes through. I've tried this on different accounts, different phones and different locations, same problem. When u switch back to stock SMS, it works again. Has mighty text worked with hangouts for you guys since day one of SMS integration?

Also,I don't think hangouts in gmail has SMS capabilities.
