Ultratab Jazz C925 Bricked

Hi Guys,

I have this tab for almost a months (rooted as well). I was a lil bit curiuos bout system files and I did read about modifying tweaks on sytem/build.prop and addedd some tweaks found on a forum. I saved it and went to reboot the tab. However, it just goes to rootloop saying something about "unfortunatelySystem UI has stopped working" and another error saying "Unfortunately, launcher has stopped working. And cant do nothing. I did restore factory reset using power button+volume down, and same issue encountered. I already did tried to connect it to my windows computer but it doesnt recognizes the device. I was hoping that someone could help me with the issue. Like a driver download or any solution.

I suppose it's safe to assume that you started tweaking system settings without making a nandroid backup in recovery first. PLEASE don't make that error again - because now you seem to have a mess.

It appears to me that you changed (or deleted) something in /system that the tablet requires... and now it's gone. A factory reset only wipes the /data partition: it doesn't touch /system. So you're going to need the original system image or a custom ROM for that tablet.

to see if there even IS a custom ROM for it. Otherwise, I'm afraid that you may have to get the original system image from someone (or the factory).

I wish I had better news, and maybe someone will come along with a better idea.

The nandroid backup would be a life-saver in this instance... it takes a complete snapshot of the tablet's entire current state and saves it to internal memory (or the SD card). If something goes wrong - like this - you can wipe the device and restore the nandroid. It will be like nothing ever happened.

i know this post is old, but i have a jazz c925 tablet and i need the factory img or the image you were intending to post back then if you still have it....
