I would like to change the default download directory to my sd card. I have found a few solutions but none seem to fit. The android version of chrome does not appear to have a setting for this. Is there a work around other than moving file after each download or am I missing something? :confused

I do have an occasional senior moment.

I'm going to be completely honest so hopefully this helps in some way. I have not found a way to change the default download folder either so I just have to change my mindset. My thinking is that when I go into the stock File Manager app then to Internal Storage and then to Download...whatever I just downloaded will ALWAYS be there so I don't have to worry about it being somewhere that I can't easily find. From there, you can long press the downloaded file and click move, then navigate to the folder you want to place the file and paste it there. I know it's definitely not as easy as choosing the target file in the beginning like we're used to with computers, but with all the not so reconizable file folders on my phone, at least I can find what I just downloaded.

I hope that helps.
