Yeah, it looks like they are only going with the 32GB route here. I'm actually just glad they don't have a 16GB version.

Speaking of memory - I guess I wonder if the micro SD card support is really limited to 64GB. My GS4 handles a 128GB micro SD fine but interesting that it not in the spec. I think the GS5 has 128GB micro SD card support in the spec.

Don't think anyone knows the answer to this for sure, but IMO the chances are very high it will support a 128gb micro sd.

There is no reason for the N4 not to work with a 128GB micro sd. In fact, I recall a person in the media put a 128gb in a demo unit at the launch event to test it out. It was in a Youtube vid linked to one of the "first look" vids by one of the sites. Not sure which.

Speaking of videos, does anybody know where this line comes from?

Have you got a video? Punk rock hamster said it.

I currently have a Note 3 with Tmobile.

In the past, I always sell my phone on either eBay or Craigslist and then buy the new phone I want.

Should I do the same this time, or should I pre-order? If I pre-order, how should I go about selling my old phone? I saw something about a $200 rebate, but I can get alot more for my phone if I sell it on my own.

Please let me know what you guys think I should do.

I would definitely sell it outright. That $200 rebate is a good deal because it applies to much older phones, but with the note 3 you should have no problem getting $350 out of it. I don't think that you should have any problem finding the phone after launch in stores. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember the 3 selling out.

Sounds good, I'll sell it on my own.

I think I might have Jump with Tmobile. How does that work with getting a new phone?

Is there a confirmed release date yet?

With Jump you can trade in your current phone for a new one and only pay the tax upfront if you have had your current phone for 6 months or more. If you got on the Jump program later you may have to wait until you have paid 50% of the balance of your current phone. I am not sure if they will let you pay the difference on the spot to meet the 50% requirement .

Android Central are stating Samsung are pulling forward the release date to potentially 26/9 although it does refer to Korean pre sales....

Analysts think Samsung is releasing early in all key markets that iPhone have yet to launch in. This would mean markets that already have the iPhone probably will not see it earlier than mid October.

I was hoping they would release it early here in the States. But if what you say is true, I guess we will have to continue to wait. It seems like Samsung doesn't really want to go heads up with Apple. If they did want to go heads up with Apple, they would have released the Note 4 here first, before or at the same time as Apple release the Iphone 6. Either way, Samsung is not going to sell 10 million Note 4s in 3 days.

They are apparently targeting 15 million in October, but it took them 3 months with the N3. I think the iPhone 6 has already taken a chunk of that and Samsung will be lucky to sell 10 million in three months, yet alone 15 million in one month. Are they in that big of a management bubble?

I just called TMobile to make sure I was on the Jump program and I am. The lady said TMobile is starting pre-orders tomorrow. I will be doing that. Then on release date, which she confirmed as Oct. 17th, I go into the store, give them my Note 3 and I get the Note 4!! I can't wait!

I will be a new customer, switching over from Sprint, but I am going out of town on the 18th for a couple weeks. Can you or anyone confirm that we'll be able to pick up the phone at the store on the 17th?

I just called a local store and they said that the phones will be shipped to the customer, no matter where you order it. He did say that if they have enough supply, I should get it on the 17th, but he couldn't promise that.

I went to a T-mobile store today and pre-ordered my Note 4. I'm on the Jump program and just had to give them a cars to hold for the taxes and shipping fees up front, which came out to less than $100. When the phone ships, they will charge my card. The guy in the store said pre-orders are shipped, but you can just go into a store on release day and buy one. I've done that for my previous phones.
