Help Anyone got the 4.4.2 KitKat upgrade?

To answer the original poster, I just got 4.4.2 over the air yesterday afternoon on my Tab 3 7 Wifi only. What a surprise! I had given up on Samsung expecting they were just abandoning the 3 7. I know it's not a powerhouse, or even the greatest screen, and it's a bit laggy, but for me its wonderful.

But don't see much different...seems about the same as before. I admit I'm not up to date on what new features to expect. Can anyone point out what the new features are?

Well there are ui changes, the multi window feature was added which lets you view up to two apps on the screen (doesn't work for every app), the apps2sd feature was added and that's about in terms of added features.

I suggest you to try the KitKat launcher app it allows you to say OK Google and make a voice search and also has and additional round light shortcuts launcher to your left of your tab screen.

Well you have the right apps short cut banner , the two apps windows. Now you can move your apps to your micro SD card and save space on your main storage.

Anyone got the 4.4.2 KitKat upgrade already?

As all of us know the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is Officialy on the Samsung list of devices to be upgraded to 4.4.2 Android KitKat.

I can tell you, you don't want this upgrade. After upgrading you can not use your SD card !
And the file system is even worse mess than before.
Why don't they build a nice, clean file system with a separate /home/user folder like in in Linux. ?!

The only thing we don`t know is when it will happen, how long we have to wait?
