The first game for Android Wear will make your eyes roll

i rooted my OG Gear and later found out how infuriating it was to play games or use Play Store or Nova Launcher from such a tiny screen and the limited speed of a Bluetooth Tether. a smartwatch's best use is access to notifications and basic apps and voice commands, the ability to use your phone without taking it out of pocket such as when driving or at work where your phone might become a distraction. i doubt it was ever meant to replace a phone. those into Star Trek also understand that a Tricorder can only do so much and it becomes inefficient to expect the full-on LCARS on a Tricorder even if it could be done. for that reason i agree with Google on it being a simple device to do simple things.

Although i would like the weather being front-and-center all the time. constantly asking for the weather might wear thin on the boss next week.

It was only a matter of time before someone made a game for Android Wear devices. Playing a game on your wrist is not exactly what Google had in mind for Wear, but that isn't going to stop Android developers from pushing the limits.

I would certainly be interested to know what type of games can this be ?
Probably the best fit (not even sure) would be card games.

Talking about that, there is a fresh alternative to snake and tic-tac-toe, it's a rogue-like game (in early alpha development): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.quet.android.castlewear

I agree that it might partially disrupts the paradigm of what Google had in mind, but I'm also wondering if there is any difference between spending hours on castle wear versus spending hours on tic-tac-toe.
