As someone who always buys an external charger and backup battery for my phones, I was hoping to create a one-stop thread for all things Note 4 accessory-wise.

If you find links to any accessories, please feel free to post them here. This can range from cases, to s-pens, to batteries, to external chargers, to docks, to holsters ...etc.

Thanks and I can't wait to get my Verizon Note 4. Happy Gadgeting!

-Joe

EDIT: As per a great request, I'll try to post links from posts to this original one so everyone has a quick spot to find them. They will be plugged in based on respective gadget.

I always buy this accessory, a must have for me. I swap batteries at around 5:30p and back to full charge. Register your phone on Samsung.com and they will send you a 50% off discount code for an accessory under $50, which I applied to this

I'm trying to get a good Note 4 case. Preferably the one made by Trident called the Kraken A.M.S.
I've checked their site and it seems they only have Note 3 cases.
Can Note 3 cases be used for the Note 4?

I Can tell you this, the N4 and N3 have slightly different dimension. The N4 is a tiny bit slimmer and taller to my knowledge.

There are slight size differences.

I got the same cover hbryder got, but mine cost 45 bucks at bestbuy...damn...

I really like it, window lets you do some things while saving power, but swipe lock screws it up. And after getting it i realized i had to remove the plastic back of the phone to put it on but when I get VR Gear ill have to put it on again and ditch the cover every time i use it... double damn...

1-I wanted the Zagg Tempered Glass Screen Protector ($39.99) and I read reviews that it doesn't fully cover the entire flat screen of the phone. I guess I should wait until Zagg re-designs it. For now, I'm left with being cautious with the screen and have left the plastic stock film the phone came with. Any suggestions?

2-I'm looking for a case that is minimalistic. I want to show off the look of the phone but I need to protect the lens of the phone, thus, I need a case that offers some thickness so that the lens of the phone doesn't get scratches. As we all know, once you get a scratch on your lens, your photos will come out horrible.

3-What do you guys think about those aluminum metal bumpers sold on e-bay that come from China? Seems like it would add a nice touch to the phones look and probably provide some protection (a lift) to the lens of the phone?

I like the look of the Spigen Slim Armor and the Verus Iron Shield. Apparently the Iron Shields were in limited supply early on, they disappeared from Amazon shortly after the 17 Oct release date here in the States. I'm on the lookout for places other than Amazon that carry them.

As far as tempered glass protectors, Spigen makes a good one, but the thicker one did not do that well for me on my S4. It began to bubble and peel after a few weeks, and eventually started to come off. The edges cracked and began to spider web, too. I replaced it and the second one did the same thing eventually, so I switched to the standard plastic one that came with my Otterbox Commuter. If you go with one, you might want to consider the thinner versions. Plus Spigen is pretty expensive for tempered glass, imo.

Edit: Can't post links as i'm a new user. PM me if you want the links.

I will be getting my N4 in a few days and have already bought a case and screen protector. I have decided to go with the Tech21 case. I think it's right up your alley for a case. I went with the clear one for the same reasons why you're looking for a phone. To be able to see the phone and show it off while still not being too much.

As for screen protector I am not sure about much of the competition. But I chose the Rhino Shield. I have yet to receive it. They just started shipping pre-orders today, actually. They claim to be shatter proof. After looking at some of the damage tests done by youtubers and the site's own tests it looks to be pretty true. I will be doing a review after I get it.

Hope all this helps.

I have a good third-party dock, but I would like the display to stay on while it's plugged in. It has the Note 4 clear window flip-cover, and it makes a nice desk clock when it's docked.

I went to Developer Options and turned on "Stay awake" as I had for my Note 2, so that the display would stay on and dimmed while it's plugged in. The problem with the Note 4, is that it will stay on while it's charging, but not after it's charged. It's very annoying not to have the display on your desk unless you open the cover on the phone.

Does anyone have a solution for this?
