I feel where you are coming from... i wouldnt call it slow, just not iphone 6 quick..

Oh please... My brothers iP6 is a nice phone but certainly not faster than any of my new top of the line Androids.

In fact presently it's well documented that iOS 8 is very buggy and full of glitches. Apple has plenty of work to get it sorted out.

Obvious the N4 that's slow has some issues and in no way represents the normal fast and smooth operation Note models are known for.

I"m not completely sure why folks are being so combative and defensive about my comments. This is meant as my own personal experience with a device I've owned for approximately 2 days. Perhaps it's a lemon, I was contemplating exchanging it.

I think you're dead on right. (And not just about the phone being a lemon - how we're on to the iPhone over a service question is kinda hilarious. :D)

Lemons happen and life is short.

Swap that sucker out for one that works. :)

Update:

I did indeed swap it out, and this one is running pretty flawlessly! I'm a little thrilled.

NOW..the speaker still ain't great. I've made some tweaks and it's better than before, it'll be fine. There's enough overwhelmingly good with this phone to overcome a bit of a flaw.

Now I just need to find more "fast charging" cables compatible with the device. Any ideas out there?

i think i might have to retract my statements about the lag, i played with the settings a bit and it is great, the phone is growing on me, it feels great in the hand, i often find myself tacking off my bummy s view case for more comfort, should i do the developer animations trick as well? Im afraid im going to change something i wasnt supposed to..

I don't know this for sure, I've ordered a wireless receiver but haven't received it yet, but I doubt that wireless charging is 'fast'. On my S4 wireless charging was a bit slower than using the stock S4 charger. Given that Fast charging on the N4 is much faster than the stock S4, I would expect wireless charging on the N4 to be much slower than 'fast'. (gosh that was hard to write and try have it make sense - hopefully I got it about right :) ).

In short, wireless charging is easy, but not fast (insert "that's what she said" joke here).

Oh sure. I know wireless charging is slow, I guess I should have clarified that I'm interested in both another fast charging plug and a wireless charging option.

Way back two years ago some wonderful person on the Note 2 forum directed us towards piecing together some very fast, rapid charging CORDS and chargers. The cords themselves also have to be decent and I will provide a link to show you an example of what I ordered off Amazon. I prefer the 6 ft. long cords, but they come in various lengths. I also ordered the dual rapid charger so that I could charge my Note 2 (at the time) and my hubby could charge his Ipad from one rapid charger. Here goes:
Amazon.com: Monoprice 6ft USB 2.0 A Male to Micro 5pin Male 28/24AWG Cable w/ Ferrite Core (Gold Plated) - WHITE: Computers & Accessories

I just got my Note 4 from Verizon a week ago, and I've noticed that it will lag multiple times a day for about 10 seconds (the phone basically freezes and the resumes working). It's the most noticeable when playing music... Since the song will just randomly pause. Anyways, I ran the Antutu benchmark on my phone and my scores were between 41000 and 42000. I noticed a few of the youtubers were getting between 48000 and 49000. Is this indicative that my phone is a lemon? Just curious as to what the Android community thinks! Thanks! :D
