Yeah I rooted my wife's 3 and no issues either. I'm keeping my eye out for the root and the 4. Wooo hooo. Skipsoft will be working on a root as well

yeah I just saw this I am excited to see more and more developers jumping on board with this phone looking more and more promising
it will also be nice to see all the note 2 developers coming to the 4 as well as those still on contract start to expire and upgrade :D

Root has been out for awhile now. Search for chainfire's root on xda. Easy peasy. Download sprint galaxy tool on the play store for native hotspotand ur good to go. There are a couple of roms out but haven't zipped em yet. I'm personally waiting for a custom kernel and then I'll be golden. Upgrading is definitely worth it due to its faster internals.

Fortunately, since Google makes the nexus root will be easy. Just know that Verizon and AT&T currently have locked bootloaders so root may take longer. Good luck. YouTube will be real helpful when ur ready. Check out QbKing77's channel for root videos.

man i left VZW over a year ago and I haven't looked back I am in TMO now so root will almost never be an issue for me
when I got the note 3 it took my almost 5 months to root just didnt need it at the time and also going to the nexus I will no longer have to worry about the knox security problomes that have come with the note 3 and 4

Knox is not an issue boss. I rooted my wife's phone over a year ago and never had an issue. Most sales people won't even bring it up. There are ways to rid Knox once u root. Everybody has a preference with phones. Maybe compare the nexus and note 4 for $hits and giggles tho. As long as u follow root directions, u should never have to go to ur provider with phone issues. Good luck
