Due to this silly way of ordering, and the reported charging & screen issues they've gone with a nexus 5 instead.

No secret handshakes or whatever required. I think this will be it's own undoing

Cannot fault someone for going with the Nexus 5. Good phone at a great price with easy availability and good development (if you're into that). My wife was going to get the nexus 5 simply because it was easier to get. It took me all of 10 minutes on this forum to purchase my OPO and at that point I had already given out 2 invites that I didn't use. I understand it is not the easiest phone to purchase but it definitely wasn't hard. I put more time/energy into getting a Metro-branded S3 when they first dropped.

I was also part of the lucky majority that has had no issues to date. I see the charging issue didn't happen right out of the box so I hope it continues.

If anyone's got a spare invite to buy a 64GB invite, my fiance wants her first smartphone. Loves the flagship specs like the Z3, G3, etc., but wants pricing liek a ZTE ZMax. She wanted the ZMax until she saw the OPO. Anyone got one?

I don't think there will be new invites out there for a while. From what I've read, some people who did the pre-order still haven't gotten their phones. I can't image new invites going out before the pre-order phones are all out.

Update: And they are gone, sadly not to someone on this site which I wanted give away to first (well after RL friends which is why waited to so long to post them). What is even worse now the OnePlus site is down so looks like no one is going to get them. Ah well, perhaps next time.
