Droid Turbo battery life (really 2 days?)

My battery life today has been much better than it was yesterday:

Took the phone off the charger at 7:20 a.m. eastern at 100%. Now, at 2:43 p.m., I'm at 69%. I'm working in a different office today, though. I get a much better 4G signal so I think that's the main reason it improved. Also, yesterday I noticed that the Verizon Cloud app was using a lot of battery. I didn't realize that it was backing up all of my music; about 10 gbs worth. At this rate I'll get about 19 1/2 hours before I'm down to zero. Still not the 48 hours that Motorola promised, but if I can make it the 16 hours from 7a-11p then I'll be happy.

1. Take a picture in a totally dark room (bathroom).

2. Go to gallery and set that black picture as wallpaper.

3. Amoled screens will only illuminate colored pixels but not black.

4. Bounus...Black background makes icons "pop".

5. On amoled screens use darkest app themes and launcher themes.

6. Don't use "auto-brightness" but set screen brightness to lowest level that
you can get by with.

7. Install power control widget. From home screen press and hold empty area...widgets will pop up. Tap widgets, scroll through and select "power control" widget. This enables control of WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Sync and Brightness right from the home screen.

8. Turn WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS etc. off unless / until needed.
Settings > Data Usage > Menu > uncheck Auto-sync data.

9. Go to Settings > Apps > Running and see which apps are running. Ex: do you really need NetFlix running in the background all the time? No you don't and you can disable / re-enable as needed. Settings > Apps > Downloaded > Stop, Disable, Re-enable.

10. Straight from Motorola: don't be fooled by bloatware apps that state that "if you close or disable a built-in app, other apps may misbehave". Motorola stated that this is a (in their words) "ploy" by the carrier to keep their apps on your phone and that to disable will not affect anything other than the app you disabled.

11. Set screen timeout to 15 or 30 seconds.

12. Vibrate uses more power than ringing. Turn off haptic feedback (vibrate at any touch) also.

13. Quickly depress power button as soon as you are finished with your screen. Average user turns screen on 150 times per day and all those seconds that your screen could be off add up.

14. Set to airplane mode if in meeting, not allowed phone at work or when otherwise not needed.

15. Unless you really use these features everyday... turn off air / hand gestures, smart scrolling etc.

16. Turn off NFC when not in use and there is no need to have WiFi and Data on at the same time.

17. Get rid of widgets that you don't need, especially those connected to the internet such as weather widgets.

18. Delete / Disable apps you don't use.

19. Keep apps updated as one of the reasons developers update apps is to improve memory and battery optimization.

20. If your phone has built in battery, power saving mode or other battery management - use it.

21. Set apps to update only as you use them instead of syncing every 15 minutes. When inside Google Play, go to Menu > Settings > Auto-Update Apps. From there, you can choose whether the apps get updated at any time, only when you
