Root [ROM] Warp 4G Stock B12 KitKat 4.4.2 Deodexed and Unmodified

If someone has time to flash the unmodified rom to see if the problem exists, it would be a helpful starting point.

OK. Got'cha. If wizaired doesn't get to it (he's having the most issues with that ATM) before I do later on (I'm still working on my housecleaning/rearrangement, lol) I'll make it an agenda as my personal issues were already taken care of thanks to SuperR

kk rom works great as far as I can tell. I like to new kk but of course android 5.0 is here. Still have issue with internal memory and sdcard1 only it is reverse since flashing your rom. Of course I know your rom had nothing to do with it, funny how it change location, external sdcard greyed out but still functioning?

Come to think. I did not ever try the unmodified ROM. Will give it a shot shortly. Right now on mobile data.. Probably download it anyway.

Edit. Well I downloaded the completely stock KitKat ROM .it still force closes whatever app I'm in when I choose a word from the drop-down word correction box after using voice input. Going to try to figure it out. I do tend to use that method a lot so I'm trying to figure out what's up. I won't stress over it though

Try the TB flashable SuperR done for me.. Might do u right! Worked like a charm here :cool:

The problem seems to be dedicated to the spell checker option in language and input. No spell checker= no drop-down text box= no force closing..

. Or just avoid accidentally choosing a word correction. As to why it does that I have no clue lol.

Oh!! Mine done something similar but I set it down for like 5min and when I came back, details were there. I just figured it was a first boot kind of lag thing.. I'm Str8 on that now tho

I keep getting a message about low memory when I download anything but got 3.6 gig free on sdcard0 and 7 gig on sdcard1. Performance is way down. According to TB my system memory is full? How I don't hnow?

Okay I'm going to repeat myself one more time SuperR posted a flashable yesterday to help fix the titanium backup/memory issue. You have to flash it first in order for it to do any good.. Flash it and then see if you still have a problem it worked excellent for me. Post #109

Damn....re-flash rom forgot Superuser now I have no root, framaroot not working, adb is offline.

Flash newest B12 from about a page back (has root already), SuperR may have even already updated OP. U should still be able to access recovery by manually rebooting and holding Vol Down before it restarts

As a whole you guys r unfathomable... somebody's going to make a ton of money with all this hands on experience.. Serious.. hey apple started in some guy's garage ! bcrichster was dead on with turn off. turn on volume button down to get to cwm then just flash superuser update. Riding back in the saddle boys !*

My original problem was low memory ...apps are being downloaded to
/data/app/

Super, once again you're awesome! Followed your instructions and everything seems great. Couple of questions though, (1)Is there anyway to incorporate the developer options back into system settings? Can't find it if it's there already. I liked the stay awake while plugged in feature. (2)I installed Xposed installer, then gravity box for kk, which resulted in the launcher fc. Not a big deal, switched to another launcher and all's good. (3) Should another rom come out, would I have to re-flash the partition updater as I haven't received the official update? Again, thanks for all your work!

Don't forget to uninstall JB version of Gravitybox and wipe caches.. Launcher should be OK but tbh I'm a Nova Launcher kind of guy and usually running that launcher ASAP.. So was unaware of FC's on that. Good to know, bro! Ty-..

YES! either allow auto update of store first or flash a newer playstore version. After store itself updates u should be good to go!

Those of us that use Xposed/GravityBox - U need to uninstall JB and install the KK version or that apk will be useless, lol

BTW.. Playstore has a GravityBox unlocker for about $3.50.. Works on all versions of GB and really kicks @$$.. More options too. I'm really digging it..

My issue was actually a bad tower :/ I am working on a 4.4 version of my l ROM

when I try to use voice search it doesn't work it only works on 4G or WiFi does anybody else have this problem

Not at all. I locked my phone on 2G/3G to check it out and everything is perfect but... I'm using an inverted Gnow/search and I had to go into app's settings-advanced- & configure + set a few options to make it perfect. Maybe needed 4G/Lte to set up app but 3G worked flawlessly afterwards

1) go to settings > about phone. Tap on SW version several times until it says you are a developer. Now you will have the option in the main settings menu
2) I also installed xposed with gravitybox and my launcher also force closed... Once lol. Never again after that.
3) You only need to flash the partitions once

I had to look up how to get developer options
what you do is go to about phone and scroll down to software version and click on it I think seven times and and it will unlock developer options.

Oh looks like SuperR already explained it lol nm

1question...what about kk having issue writing to external sd? There is even an app for it on google play..SD fix kitkat ? Flash back to jb4.1.2. all was like before.

2 question but I think I know the answer to this one...I am getting an update message to system. I assume this is the kk update and do not install if you are not stock?
