Lollipop 5.0 [Its out! 11/12]

Please read the post...I was referring to using the image for Volantis to flash the Nexus 7. Just wondering how much difference there is, but I assume that it's a 64-Bit image and will not work due to the architectural difference. I wouldn't doubt that phone software vs tablet will not even be close to being the same.

There was already an image leaked for the nexus 7, thats why there was the confusion.

Either way, dont flash what isnt made for your device

Crossing my fingers for a factory image release for today. The reviews being released in waves about the N6 is making me uneasy about another night using the developer preview, especially with the notorious Miscellaneous battery percentage wake-lock drain bug.

More than not, using the developer preview has left me in a sort of limbo where I don't want to set up the phone all the way because I know I'm just going to have to redo the entire deal any day now.

I agree rhray. I did a backup this morning using helium. You can only do a restore using the premium version for $4.99 on the play store. But I think $4.99 is worth it to keep all app data and not have to go through the entire setup process again.

It would really be awesome to get the update on top of the preview OTA and keep all files and settings.

OTA's start today.

What do I win :p

In the coming weeks...It's only served when you have it on your plate lol. If it won't be here for a couple of weeks, I'd say it's still in the kitchen.

Thats the way google rolls it out. There are other ways to get it immediately for those who wish to do so. Via either the factory images or applying the OTA via adb

Is this link a flashable file? Can I flash this thru twrp like any other ROM? Also, I will probably want to go back to my DU 8.2 backup, is that OK after flashing 5/L?

That link is the factory image, only flashable via fastboot after decompressing

Edit: Finally booting. First download must have had an md5 mismatch because flashing system kept failing. Up and running with the second download. It looks... a lot like the preview :p
