Root [MetroPCS] [ROM][4.4.4]CARBON ROM Kitkat 4.4.4 for LG Optimus F6 [LOTS OF FIXES]

Just getting a Kernel crash error, now.
"Kernel panic - not syncing: EXT4-fs (device mmcblkp2): panic forced after error"
If I remove the SD card, it will still boot as normal, so I can still get into recovery with wiping data. Just have to pop SD in before it reboots to access the SD card. Can not get it to boot into Android, though.

This hack looks really cool so I definitely want to try this out instead of using link2sd, but I a little confused...

First, how do I know if my SD card is class 10 or not. I bought a Sandisk 16gb ultra. 30/mbs of speed on the package.

Second, because I have been using link2sd I have several apps already linked to my ext4 partition. So can I backup those apps up and then move them back after I increase my internal storage?

Third and Final, how do I install TWRP recovery (I used CWM) and uninstall this hack if I want to go back to using link2sd?

Thank you for your help. My sound was not working so I had to unbrick. But I'm back on Carbon so I'm ready to try this out.

I really wanna flash this again especially because of the revamped kernel...

But the whole flash/led torch lack of support not yet being figured out...

Kinda makes it a "I can wait" thing...
It's hard...waiting.....like waiting for Xmas stuff(I guess) ..

But my non existent career as a pseudo non professional eccentric avant garde photographer will be hampered.....lol...

BEFORE YOU DO THIS HACK IF ITS A FRESH ROM INSTALL BOOT INTO THE ROM AND LET IT SET UP ON THE internal MEMORY THEN DOWNLOAD SUPER USER AND UPDATE YOUR BINARY THEN DO THIS HACK .

You need a class 10 SD card for best results

1. Make 2 partitions on SD I used twrp to do it. Go to format SD card and make sure you choose ext 4 and choose the size of your partition this will be where you data is stored, it will then take the remainder of your ad card and make it fat32 which will be your new external SD size.

2. In twrp go to settings and check the option that says format RM RF ( something like that ) . once you've checked it back to main menu go to mount and mount your SD ext partition.

3. Once mounted go back to main menu and wipe SD ext .

4. Go back to main and uncheck the format RM rf option and then go back to the main menu.

5. You then want to flash the datacopy.zip then the data install.zip ( whatever they ate called ) in post 319 for KK.

6. After it installs reboot to system and u should be good.

Some should make a tutorial for CWM because that's what comes with this ROM.

I had the same problem... turns out my SD Card was not formatted correctly, I used logical opposed to Primary for my second partition.

I followed the directions here (post 301) to format it correctly.

http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-f6/819792-proposal-theory-external-sd-storage-solution-f6-7.html

Then flashed Data-on-SD-copy then Data-on-SD-install from post 319.

Thanks to everyone for putting time and effort into this!
