Can a few of you check this possible speaker issue for me?

To test, go in a quiet area and just pull the S-Pen out a little bit so it makes the remove sound and push the S-Pen back in and let me know if you here a faint static pop about 3 seconds later... OR just compose a blank text and depress keys and see if you hear the sound slightly after each key input.

It sounds like crap when I'm in my quiet office and I'm typing on the Note 4 and I keep hearing this.

All of them did exactly what mine does. They all make a static click sound about 3-5 seconds after the speakerphone makes whatever sound you reproduce, for example the water droplet sound, or the S-Pen removal sound or a keyboard click...virtually any sound emitted from the rear speakerphone is followed seconds later by a faint static click which sounds to me like the rear speaker physically shutting off. It's annoying but seemingly unavoidable at the moment...so I'll live with it.

My hearing is insanely good. I was in my home office the other day and it was dead silent inside and out and as I was doing something on the phone I would hear this faint "click" or static pop sound and after closely listening and trying different things I realized it was the rear speaker. I am assuming it is the speaker shutting off a few seconds after it makes it's intended sound or announcement. Fairly certain there is nothing that can be done about it unless maybe somehow when Lollipop releases it wipes it clean....In the meantime I need some background music LOL

don't get me wrong, I'm actually very pleased with the sound quality and loudness of the rear speaker. Only issue is that is makes a static pop sound when it turns on and off. They ALL do it so I'm not concerned.

My speaker seems to be making a popping noise all the time, after I do just about anything; clicking on links, listening to anything, typing, opening apps ugh!! It's only noticeable when it is very quiet, but it's incredibly frustrating!!

Has no one found a fix?

sounds > other sounds > touch sounds

Still does the 1-2 sec long weird distortion/buzz/popping after any other sound finishes though =| is this a bad phone should I send it back? From what it sounds tho alost all of them do it?

The first thing I do when I get a new phone is turn off the very annoying touch sounds, having to sit somewhere with someone tapping away at the keyboard on their phone and having to listen to the stupid noise it makes every key press makes me want to either go and throw their phone across the room, or go and slap their face.
