Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] [Recovery][VM]TWRP v.2.8.0.0 for the LG Optimus F3

Thank you gherkaul :)

I have updated the twrp install zip with the data restore fix you knocked out of the park. :)

There's still a few very minor bugs left over but its now a 'daily driver' recovery now. Very stable and on par with cwm touch now for stability.

Gherkaul Deserves the credit for the bug fixes

It's Bumped too :)

Just going to say, awesome job Gherkaul!!! And This is really necessary anymore. Maybe change it to just flash via flashify. And there is a very small typo I found in the OP. Hahahaha kudos if anyone finds it :p
extract the zip file, under the files folder you will find a bunch of files. The ones you need are:

copy both aboot.img and twrp.lok to your internal sd card to this folder

Run these commands inside of a terminal app. Any Terminal app will do.

Also, you can use flashify or a similar app as well.

sorry phone messdup I corrected the spelling flashifi

Yes, you can use flashify to install twrp now. First you must extract the files inside the Windows Installer zip download. Copy the image "twrp-2.8.0.0_ls720_bumped.img" found in the "files" folder from the extracted zip to your external_sd. Install and open Flashify on your phone. Select "Recovery image" and from the pop-up tap "Choose a file". Use the file browser to select the image you copied to the external_sd and confirm flash. Once finished you can reboot and use the key combo (vol dwn + pwr) to enter recovery.

why can't u just get in recovery like twrp. and flash it on my other devices that is how I have done it I will do it Ur way thanks for u explaining to me:)

The reason why we're not providing recovery flashable zip to install a recovery is because not everyone has a custom recovery already installed.

It won't install inside of the stock recovery. It makes since to utilize a install.bat file to take advantage of adb debugging. It's quick and easy.
