I've ran across a few member that I KNOW are into brewing. I hope they find your thread. Great idea.
I've never brewed but I have consumed. As a kid, my best buddy's grandfather was into brewing. Not the art of.. just economy for he was a heavy drinker. Naturally we snitched a few here and there and enjoyed.
My cousin's late husband was into brewing beers. He always had some exotic this or that to try. He was more into the art of it all. He had a lot of fun with his beers and always enjoyed sharing his efforts.

That's me... I love sampling custom creations. I don't have enough patience to brew custom made beer but my grandfather and I used to make a moonshine for self consumption. I was a kid back then so it was for his consumption but he had a whole ritual. I was mesmerized by the part of the 'show' when he would lite up the tablespoon full of product and it would burn with blue flames... It was most amazing thing I ever saw... or as I though as a kid.... lol
