Bluetooth Earbuds suggestion

I'm looking for suggestions on Bluetooth earbuds.

To give you an idea of what I am looking for: I have been content with the stock earbuds for my needs: phone calls, podcasts and music.

I'm a Gen X'er beginning to reap the rewards of a lifetime of listening to loud music and loud headphones. ie I am not looking for the most amazing sound. It would be a waste of time and money for my ears these days.

I'm looking for "good enough" audio quality for calls. I am more concerned with charge life and durability.

I'm starting to read reviews now, so I am completely open to suggestions.

Two that I found at my local Best Buy today:
Plantronics BackBeat Go 2

Jaybird BlueBuds X

My other "complaint" that I am trying to overcome with my choice of earbuds is the placement of the mic/call controls.

I am trying to avoid the situation I am having with the stock earbuds...whenever I wear them, the mic is prone to catching/snagging on my collar or jacket zipper, which creates a lot of background noise for the callers on the other end. I can never hear the sounds, so I am completely unaware unless the caller complains.

So..for example..that is one reason I am hesitant to buy the Plantronics BackBeat Go 2.

What about call quality for the people I call? My understanding from my review research is that most of these suffer from the same problem. Poor call quality for the other party. Either the audio sucks, the mic is prone to rubbing on collars creating background noise, etc.

Have you experienced any issues with that?

None at all,the call quality is supreme,on both ends.
The other end cannot distinguish between the two & on the JAYBIRD end,the volume/quality is so good, you'll find yourself turning the volume down, kinda weird hearing a call literally inside your head.

Get em' from BestBuy or AMAZON,due to the ease of their return policies, just by the off-chance you're not happy w/'em.

Another positive bluebuds user here, but admittedly I mostly use them for listening to music while working out. I have used them for the occasional call though.

They tend to offer at least a 25% of sale around the holidays that Amazon will usually match. I also recommend upgrading the tips to the Comply foam tips - not too expensive but the sound is tons better when the foam closes all the space in your ear.
