Not much of a diffrence.. imho...
but what do i know

I'm currently messing around with cm11 at the moment. I may have a newer version of cwm touch soon.

I've compiled a newer version of cwm. I'm trying to get it to enable touch. Koush's touch files are non existent on the net so I'm trying to peace meal it together myself.

If I can't get it to enable touch I won't post it.

as I'm sure you've found out - its nearly impossible to port a ROM with a source build. too many things change too often...

If you need any help with compiling CWM, I might be able to help. I've learned a bit about it in the past year. I also have an extensive network of contacts for building from source if I can't help.

I can compile cwm without issue. I'm trying to enable touch. Would you know how to enable touch compiling cwm?

I was able to compile cwm 6.0.5.1 with swipe. It's like the standard cwm (non touch) by looks but you can use the touch screen to navigate with swipe guestures. up, down, left (back), and right (select). That may be as close as I'll get to 'touch' in compiling cwm. Koush never released his 'touch' source file plugin. I'll keep at it though.

Would anyone be interested in this? I haven't fully tested it but it should work 100% without any bugs. The other recoveries work just fine. The reason for it's existence is as a byproduct of setting up a device tree for the cm rom.

I'll test it, sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday, my PC took a dive (again) and had to get everything back up and running.

I will look into touch and I'll let you know.

Just wanna say I am running this rom on my f3 now, and aside from a slight bug in the wireless (Wireless disconnects when the phone goes to sleep) I am loving the Hell out of this! Keep up the good work.

I'm glad. I noticed that as well. I'm sure it's a setting issue. I also know the phone sounds go in and out. I'm not worried about it at the moment. If you have 3g, you can still make calls using 'freetone free calls & text' app using voip. They'll give you a number also.
