I'm trying to fix my sister's Metro PCS phone, Samsung Galaxy Exhibit (Model: SGH-T599N). It is currently stuck in a boot loop.

Here's some info on it:
- Everytime I turn it on, it starts with "Samsung Galaxy Exhibit SGH-T599N" for about 5 second, then turns off, then turns on for 5 second again, then turns off, repeat.
- I was able to boot into download mode and flash a stock firmware using odin. However, this didn't fix the boot loop problem
- I can't boot into recovery mode.
- Every time could I boot into recovery, the phone turns off and the boot loop problem occurs again.

Any help is appreciated.

From the the sound of it could be a recovery issue. Best you can do is Odin phillz touch recovery for our phone. Wipe it clean and then Odin a stock package.

If you have a backup of the ROM you can clean your phone and then restore from the back up. Also I am using kit Kat build Recovery's with my stock backup and have no issues I'm guessing you can do the same. Anything has to work

question is, how to restore a backup with philz
Easy when you first boot up into recovery you will see back up and restore touch it and select where ever you put your back up. Sdcard 0 or 1 your internal memory is 0 and your external is 1 it will say the date first and then the name of the ROM you want to back up.
