i am not having issues with my phone just simply trying to pull information for it and upload it so the devs can have it accessible if they decide they want to work on this phone....thx for the inquiry though~~@pOsSuM72
Look here and you will find it. http://androidforums.com/forums/boost-mobile-galaxy-s3-all-things-root.2291/
Thats more so for people to have in case they really mess their device up but can still access recovery.

if your back up is messed there is a file i uploaded and kdude63 re-hosted that is the stock tar.md5 it will will revert your phone to factory as if you just opened the box and turned it on for the first time... its an official firmware from samsung pushed through kiesIm trying Conquest it just sitting at the Singularity screen for about 10 mins tried 3 times now.Any help? Also my back up is all borked up.
I tried the stockrooted flashable didnt boot it was stuck on samsung screen forever.Dang it wheres the tar at i cant get anything to boot now.
yes it worked on my wifes phone and hers is vmOK I'll try the tar when I get back home.I got cm11 snap to boot.I know all the risks that's the fun part of it lol. Will this tar work on virgin mobile too?
Another question let's say I flash lollipop and baseband says unknown can I flash the radio to work?Or is that a brick NO NO
i copied and pasted the command u posted ...could i have done something wrong??? would u like me to try again...sorry for the stupid questions....but whats the point of me pulling that file and why couldnt it be pulled from the stock tar if whats on the phone came from whats in the tar file?? and why does the class of sd matter i just have a cheap 16gig card not sure of its class...again sorry for the dumb question .... (my name says it all!!! lol)
The class of the card matters because slower cards have a lower chance of being imaged successfully in order to be bootable by the phone. I don't know if it's something you did because it could also be one of several other reasons.
It has to be pulled from the phone itself because it contains partition table information that allows it to be booted from which the stock tar does not.
This model of the s3 really does need its own thing.I hope its gets up and going.Sure wish i knew more about all this stuff to get a working kernel or whatever it takes to get all these roms running as they do on the L710.
Thats awesome. Im uploading the tar full stock file to Android host as we speak of course with noobs approval. Just want that life saving file out there more.It does work.Saved me from a divorce lolIts going to happen. The mods/admin are aware we need a subforum and devs have taken notice. One is already helping and thats why we got our first stock rom. This phone is the next evolution of the S3.
