[APP] GrooVe IP - Google Voice VoIP

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but I'm new to this forum, and I can't find a way to search this loooong thread, so I've got to ask.

Is there a way to add contacts without them having to call me?
Hi,

GrooVe IP syncs with the contacts stored on your device. If you add a contact via the people or contacts app on your device it will show up in GrooVe IP.

My device is nothing more than a glorified mp3 player. Prior to Grove IP, it had no way to contact anyone. I assume then that somewhere on the player, there's an app for adding contacts. I'll search around for this. Thanks.

I'm glad that you were able to work it out. I meant the android phone app, actually. Usually the sytem will have a phone icon, on the desktop, in a dock, or in an app drawer, this brings up the dialer application, usually com.android.phone, or something similar.

By "the phone app", I assume you mean Groove IP. There isn't anything there. In my list of applications, there *was* a Contact app, and I'm able to add them there.

Can this be done and how?

T-Mobile cell number forword to Google voice number. Have 2 groove ip (1 my tmobile cell, 2 my tablet)

When someone calls my tmobile number it will be forwarded to my Google voice number and both my cell and tablet will ring on groove ip?

Sorry, GrooVe IP now directly uses Ring.To. Also, forwarding your t-mobile number would require you to contact t-mobile and set up call forwarding with them.
