I learned christmas day i am getting the nexus 6, i am currently using a prepaid LG optimus L90 which is dying, the contenders were the Samsung galaxy note 4, HTC M one 8 , the Samsung galaxy S5 and the nexus 6, the nexus 6 won out, had the nexus 4 briefly a few months ago, can't wait too see what the nexus 6 is like
Congrats! Nice phone. Super fast.

Take a deep breath ... take another one. Don't hyperventilate, though. ;)

Find something to do between now and then like reading War and Peace (Actually, I could recommend some good winter reading that would keep you busy. :) ). Don't let the wait ruin the experience. Once you've got it, the wait will be quickly forgotten.

I'm coming back to the N6. I've had the Note 4 for more than a month. The phone is sooooo incredibly laggy. I just couldn't take it anymore. I placed my order for a 64GB Midnight Blue at motorola.com last night and it will be here by January 22nd. There are issues with both phones, but I will take a phone that will respond when I press a button over one that lags. So place me back in the line of waiting for my N6. :)

I got mine yesterday. Oh my God, I could scream it's so awesome.

I upgraded from a Lumia 820 Windows Phone, which I love; it's cute, solidly built, a very trusty little device, but this Nexus is from another world altogether. Seriously, they could be 10 years apart. It is quite big, certainly as big as I'd like a phone to be. Any bigger would be impractical, but then, I mainly use smartphones for their other features, i.e apps and games, web browsing, youtube etc, and don't have a tablet, so this is perfect for me.

The screen is glorious. Resolution so incredibly fine, everything looks incredibly smooth and sharp. The amoled nature of it gives excellent depth and contrast.

Lollipop (my first experience of Android) is just amazing. So much nicer than anything I've used before. So intuitive and user friendly, but layered with features. Built-in integration with my Google account has made everything so integrated and quick to set up.

Now I'm looking for games and apps to make the most of the power and screen resolution.

Overall, it's just awesome and I'm thrilled with it.

The phone is phenomenal! Fast, responsive, and very smooth! Now if o could figure how to get my ringtones I downloaded from my Dropbox folder, I'll be set!

You need to put them in the right directory, and then they'll show up for selection.

/storate/emulated/0/Ringtones is the directory from a file manager, or if you plug in to your computer's USB, it'll be the Ringtones directory from Internal Storage..
