To remove the annoying system update notification wait for it to pop up in pull notifications click and hold it push app info and disable notifications

I got the notification for the System Update. Swiped down, press and hold on it, click on App info. The app it brings up is Google Play Services. I unclicked the box to show notifications and the notification went away.
Thank you!!!

But now what other notifications from Google Play Services am I blocking?
I used a System app uninstaller to disable OTA Updater so I should not get any more update files.
I'm still a little confused... what would have happened if I installed the MetroPCS System Update?

You would have lost your root..

i think its 10c

The 201MB MetroPCS update is 10c, but what I meant is what is the app on my phone that caused the update to download in the first place?? I'm confused as to why a custom ROM would allow for the download of a MetroPCS update.

p.s. I love the ROM, it is working great!! I'm about to load it on another L70 that I just got.

I have an L70 MS323, i had a fresh, clean install of 10b on it, rooted with towelroot, then unlocked and installed CWM. I tried installing this ROM and it's been about 15mins since it started and it's just sitting at "Installing... 0.00%". Should i wait longer or reboot and try again? I don't want to brick my moms Christmas present :/

EDIT: Reset to factory defaults and cleared system cache seemed to do the trick... it's installing now, can't wait! :D

When I initially installed this ROM, I did not have my sd card partitioned for link2sd. After suffering from memory shortage, I set up link2sd but figured I would just start out fresh so I executed a factory reset. Now it seems as though the performance control settings that are supposed to be set after rom install are not working right. I unchecked intelliplug and looked at the blue box for the core usage and it does not go black like its supposed to...seems as though this is causing some serious battery drain by andriod os. Would it be best to re-install the rom or is there something that can be done?

Not to be offensive. Did u read the whole thread and how the performance control settings worked?? I used aparted and linked the apps with link2SD...I am just saying read the thread..
I did not read the whole thread but I will if that is where I can find the answer to my question.
I am referring to the "important!!" instructions posted by OP. After doing what is instructed in performance control, the core use is not right.

Edit: read through the whole thread found nothing about the problem I am experiencing.

Going to try reseting performance control app to default then reselect the correct options.

Cleared app data/cache for performance control and the problem still remains. I am starting to think a reinstall of the rom is the only fix to this issue, but not preffered because I need my phone on during the day and last time I tried to start fresh aroma was stuck at 0% that is why I did a factory reset instead.
Go to Google type in performance control apk and download the new one no need for a factory reset

Hey all, been having issues getting simplicity to even install, not really a big deal its just a toy and i finally got it to install anyhow, but my problem is that the performance control app is force closing before i can make any changes. Ive googled and havent been able to find any clues as to why this might be happening. As a side note this phone is just one of my toys to test things on and its been through alot of different modifications and such. So, i guess my question is if any one has a clue to why i cant open Performance Control. Let me know if more info is needed. Thanks in advance.

-EDIT- I've no idea what the problem was but after testing a few other roms and coming back it works great. And may I say that this is by far the best ROM I've tested, thank you chevanlol360.
Now to attempt to partition my sdcard into internal memory, how many times will I brick it in the process do you think? lol

I found out that it is actually an issue with the phone. I had already reinstalled simplicity twice, but I used flashtool to go back to b stock (rooted immediately) and it is still occurring. I think it is an app that is causing the problem. It is my gfs phone, not mine, and I haven't had enough time to go through it and test. My personal hypothesis is gcloud or onedrive, but idk for sure.
