Root [Boost Mobile] Tri-Band S3 (SPH-L710T)

Am i doing something wrong here? every single rom, including the stock rom is just sucky.. so much force closes and phone restarts.. tried liquid smooth and it restarts so much its annoying as well as with force closes.. I am currently on conquest now with the ktoonz kernel that fixes rotation, but for some reason the phone is soo laggy and still restarts after like 5 or less minutes of use. this phone got its period or something?

also tried the s5 experience.. but it was full of force closes n restarted as well.. followed all instructions.. i think maybe its a kernel thing? :/
Or some apps causing it. I would try uninstalling all of your apps and then run the ROM see how it works and then add your apps 5 at a time and run the ROM and when it messes up you'll know what app is causing your problems.

You should not be getting force closes. You're definitely doing something wrong. That is not normal. Wipe everything and do fresh installs of apps. And do not flash gapps on tw Roms, they already have them.

I didn't get any force close issues.
The battery was dis-charging at a rapid rate, but I let rom sit for a couple days now holds a better longer charge than stoc ever did.

I have the most bizarre problem. I wanted to delete some CWM backups from my SD card. I tried to delete them using ES file explorer. No dice said "file not delete-able. So I unmounted the card and put it in a card reader I backed it up to my computer and then I tried to format with windows. It could not format the card. I then used mini partition wizard and tried to wipe data. It seemed to work but when I tried to format the card all of the data was still there!!! WTF??

So I plugged it back into my phone and all those files are there as well. I tried to format the card in andriod. No dice. I tried again in CWM and it just freezes. Bizarre.

I have a really bizarre problem. I wanted to clear out some backups from my SD card. Using ES file explorer it said that it could not remove the files. So I pulled the card and tried to delete the files through windows. It looked like they deleted but when I plugged the card back in they were still there. So I said f it and pulled the card again backed up all the files and tried to format via windows. Nope it wouldn't format. I tried to wipe the card with mini partition wizard and it would not work either. Files are still there. So I tried to format via andriod and that wouldn't work either. Lastly I tried to use CWM to once again format. No can do. This sucks I have been trying for hours now to find a fix to this problem and nothing.

Hey guys so i got the sprint spark l710t and ive read through this post im currently running the conquest rom with the kernel fix. Im just wondering if i could do this with any more of the sprint s3 roms. Also is there a confirmed fix for the LTE ? If so id appreciate someome confirming one for me :)

I haven't had any problems with my LTE working. The only thing different is it showing 4G instead of LTE because if I am correct that is just part of the Rom. I verified it by going into my data menu through dialer changing from CDMA / LTE /EVDO to LTE only, rebooted then booted back up and it showed 4G but I noticed during the LTE timing it would say searching for service then go back to being in service.

Just wanted to take a sec and thank everyone for the info in this thread. Glad I found it because there isn't anything anywhere else! I would have preferred a non Triband phone though.

I'm rooted with PhilZ and only rooted the stock rom on Boost. I know it was asked a round page 6 but never really saw any replies. Has anyone here installed any AOSP Roms and been successful with data?

Heres a post just started up whats working that some have tried.Alot wont work shows up no baseband. The ones that work youll need to flash the kernal listed to fix a few things. All you can do is just start trying some.Thats what i do.Make sure you flash your apn fix too. Some Of Those Roms Are Listed In This Thread Too.

Outside of the stock kernel, Ktoonez, and the kernel supplied with some of the different AOSP ROM's I haven't tried any. I know there are a few posted over at XDA. I think the Electron kernel is one, but like I said haven't tried them yet.
Just curious if any of the others will fix our rotation problem.
