You have to run it through adb shell in recovery. First, mount /system in CWM. Then do CD /system/apps and type in LS. Find the metro app and do mv name.apk name.apk.tmp This should fix your problem.

CWM should be able to access any SD card that TWRP would be able to.

This right here. I cannot format as I don't have enough space to back all of it up on laptop. APPERANTLY, twrp can handle different types of formats. One more thing; if I format to VFAT, will that affect the way my pc views it?

Hey. I've had the same problem you're having now. Try this. Go into System settings-->Storage-->Unmount SD card, then remove your external card and try the process again. I read an earlier post on this thread and it works!

Did you make a nandroid backup of your device BEFORE deleting files?

I am thinking of making a video for noobs, but if I dont need to do it, I do not want to waste time

Everything is easy to read and so simple. A 5 year old could do this...scratch that, they already can lol.

But I did have a question about an error message that pops up whenever I try to do a nandroid backup. But lo and behold...it started backing up! Amazing. And perplexing.

I will definitely keep you posted on how this turns out.

I don't know if others have this issue, but the cwm only sees the internal sdcard it won't mount the external sdcard. Any fix?

I THINK this would require full boot partition access as someone would need to be able to test the Rom. Don't hold me to this though ad it's just speculation

The beauty of the Concord II is its locked bootloader. This phone is a lesson in bootloader locked development. Going over Adb. update-zips. Spice it up a notch, no fastboot!
Porting ROMs = a lot of trial and error.
Since the Z730s only work around to modifiy system is through recovery, these are really the only two methods i know of to mod concord 2.
adb can be used to de-odex. After that make a flashable zip and start cooking.
Correct me if im wrong. that was my plan but I bricked mine. Only paper weight I ever paid for lol Cheapest I can find em is 49.99. One day. Till then.
