Root HTC Evo 4G 0 MB storage.

ok well either way......in order to get your phone working again, we need a sd card that works and something that is larger than 2g. the smaller cards do not work well with the og evo.
^ This.

Too many cooks spoil the soup so I just wanted to drop one extra tip and bow out - and it's this -

Before flashing anything, always check the md5 checksum - we have a tool for that in our Mini-SDK http://androidforums.com/threads/adb-guide-updated-2014-11-11.443072/#post-5389081

And s-on, pretty sure that you can only fastboot flash recovery, so that makes sense.

You're in good hands, good luck!

I can use the Minimal ADB and fastboot program. Only fastboot part works as I know. Can't fastboot flash any rom. Always says remote failed error.
You can't fastboot flash a ROM because -
Not sure if you can push an entire system without the engineering bootloader yeah? o_O
On recovery trying adb commands and always get device not found.
That could be caused by either a bad usb driver or because /system is gone.

My opinion - get cheap sd card/usb adapter, plug in to pc, move rom over, flash from recovery.

Right now you're fighting too many unknowns.

Just my opinion.

Yes I have no system. Think I screwed up internal storage too.
Too soon to panic.

Having a spare usb/sd adapter is always a good thing, not expensive and won't be good money after bad, you can always use one.

Getting another sd card, if you haven't already, will more than pay for itself with the time you're getting into this. Plus - spare sd card, always useful.

Don't panic. ;)

When I had other sd card my phone wouldn't mount it either. I left my spare at my Aunt's place. Can't get it for a week or so. 43 miles away.
Yeah - as you've discovered, it's possible to have fastboot access but not adb - Windows drivers are a real pain in the neck that way.

Options - what sd card do you have? I recall reading earlier that the guys advised that you have one too small, not sure. If true, could your aunt mail you the other one faster?

What Windows do you have (version and number of bits)? What adb drivers have you tried? Is HTC Sync installed?

How comfortable are you with the command line? If very comfortable, we could take you through a live Linux boot where there's no such thing as drivers.
