After much thought and reading through this thread twice and taking some notes, also checking out some of the manufacturer websites and comparing colors etc. I moved away from my Otterbox Commuter simply based on the color. I wanted a red case and I did find thanks to several of you on here a great replacement for the Otterbox. I got the Spigen Slim Armor case in Electric Red. Found the case to be quite easy to install and it seems to work well with the Note 4.

But I do want to comment on what the sales rep at Verizon Wireless tried to use on me to buy an overpriced case from them. He said that only Verizon Wireless certified cases would work with the Note 4. Some thing about the antenna not working correctly. So I simply went to the Amazon site and showed him that according to Amazon and many of the reviewers on that site that the Slim Armor case worked just fine with the Note 4. Now I want to go back to visit with him and show him just how well this "uncertified" by Verizon Wireless case works.

Thanks to all the folks who posted in this thread for you help to me in finding the "right" case for my Note 4.

I have both the Spigen Tough Armor, as well as a Seidio Flip Cover unit, and the front is protected by a ZAGG glass protector. I alternate between both. The Seidio is very nice, thin, not bulky.
Amazed anyone can deal with the ZAGG glass protector or ANY glass protector. It makes the screen look like it is "bleeding" colors, as our displays are curved. Stick with the normal PET film protectors (you can get 4 for 6$) and just replace with one of the four they include when it gets scratched up enough. Glass protectors just don't work well on curved displays like the N4 and 6 Plus. Easy to apply? Sure, look good? Maybe in sun-light, they suck otherwise, and are very over-priced when I can get 4 pet-film ones for 6$ on amazon w\ free shipping and they are crystal clear.

Keep getting pinged about this via email. Why in the HECK do people put Otterboxes on their N4? It makes it so ridiculous stupid looking and big it is A. Annoying to use. B. Butt effing ugly. C. Can't fit it anywhere! I got my N4 upon release date, and to this day have only use the Spigen case (with kick-stand) but I switched to the 9$ transparent sleeve on Amazon, and just keep a screen protector on it (no, not those 40-60$ crap glass ones, as you know, we have CURVED glass to TEMPERED does not work) but the 5-6$ pack that gets you 6 or so on Amazon.

Anyway, stop worrying about the phone, they are TOUGH (and a lot cheaper than before)

Also, in response to flip\wallet covers...who wants a folio? Just lol.

I recently got a Note 4 and first bought the original Samsung Note 4 flip case that is supposed to show you the time even when the flap is covered....well it never did show me the time as it displayed on the box and it was very annoying to keep opening/closing it everytime I wanna check my phone.

So I was looking at the case suggestions here and was confused, many mixed reviews, some cases look nice, but don't fit perfectly, the buttons may or may not click perfectly (side buttons). The Otterbox case had many reviews stating the color is not what is actually in the image displayed.....so I was lost......

until a moderator on the Android Central Forums mentioned this case:

Ballistic Urbanite Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 4

I just received it 2 days ago and it's perfect!! My Note 4 looks even more elegant with its perfectly rounded edged, sleep design, thin that you can place the phone in your pocket but still has double layer for perfect protection and feels very rugged! I have never bought such a quality case before and I thank you (Mr. Mod) for this suggestion!! The perfect mix for the Note 4. Along with a glass screen protector, now I feel I am very safe to protect my investment.

I would go for something like that if it had the front cover like this one for the note 3.

Amazon.com: Galaxy Note 3 Case, Spigen
I sent a message to Spigen asking if they were going to make that case for the Note 4. The reply was that there is no plans to develop this one. That's too bad, I would definitely go for that if it was available for the note 4.
