For some reason the Spotify connect app on the my Fire TV has suddenly stopped working. The first time I used it, using my Samsung Galaxy S3, it worked perfectly and has been fine for the past two weeks. Now when I try to connect, the app opens, the album artwork appears on the screen, the sound briefly cuts out from my phone and the progress bar on the TV advances a few seconds, however no sound accompanies it. Then the bar freezes, the sound reverts to the phone and the phone display a message "Amazon Fire TV is unavailable for playback". The album art remains frozen on the TV screen and if I close and reopen the app it is still stuck there even if the phone is playing a different track. The only way to clear it is to go to app settings and manually clear data and cache and then force stop the app. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it makes no difference. I don't think it anything to do with my phone as I have been using two different devices and neither of them will work. I am also able to control the YouTube app from my phone with no difficulty. I'm a bit ticked off as one of the main reasons for getting Fire TV was that it enabled me to stream Spotify to my AV amp. Any suggestions please.

Managed to fix the problem using the tried and tested method of disconnecting the Fire TV box from the mains for a couple of minutes and then plugging it back in again. I guess it's going to be one of those devices, requiring constant resets in order to work properly....
