Anyone in the UK got the lollipop update?

I literally just got the notification that the update is available (mine's an unlocked M8). Dithering whether or not to install it (seems like it's 5.0, rather than 5.0.2).

My experience with Android L on other devices has been mixed: I had to factory reset my Nexus 7 (2012) after the update to reduce severe lag (not that it was that great on KitKat!). My NVIDIA Shield tablet (32GB LTE on 5.0.2) is experiencing random freezing requiring hard resets, but I think that's more of a problem with NVIDIA's v2.1 of their firmware than Android L itself.

Anyone else taken the plunge and installed 5.0 yet on their M8?

Same here running it since yesterday afternoon and all is going well.

No bad things to say everything is nice and smooth doesn't seem to have affected the battery life,
Seem to have lost the ability to add a facebook account to my account's and snyc but im thinking a factory reset will probably solve that one.

Has anything else changed apart from the drop down menu and the running apps menu?

Annoyingly I don't seem to be able to update anymore. Was holding off for a day or so but then decided to go for it. It said it was downloading but just seemed to get stuck at 100%, so I cancelled the process.

But now the update doesn't seem to be available anymore! Grrrrr!
Try main settings, Apps, All, Updater, clear cache and data.

Settings, Update, try to check again.

I updated last night and have found I can no longer wirelessly tether my tablet to my phone despite my ee contract allowing tethering. Phone not rooted so will need to read up and see if I can find a solution when home from work.

When i updated to lollipop, i did a soft reset from within settings and then set phone to restore all of my apps from backup.

Tethering would not work when everything was finally restored.

I have done a further reset this morning, Power button and volume down, and did not set it to restore from backup.

When reset was complete i found i can set up my wireless hotspot and tether no problem now.

Will try reinstalling apps that i have been using one by one and see if one of them is responsible for the problem.
