I wonder why? Well as long as it's stock, it's fine right, there shouldn't be any difference except modems right?

Does anyone know if this is safe to use on an NJ3 phone?

I BELIEVE it should be able to be used. I dont see why not. Just anything ROM that's not using a modem lower than NJ3. NJ2 should be its equivalent. But I'm not 100% sure

Should be. Its just like using nd8 on an NDC phone. It will be all sprint stuff instead of VM or boost.

Ive flashed rooted deodex ndc rom buy jdsingle after taking the nj3 update without problem. But i dont think it flashes modem. I also have used odin between NJ2 and NJ3 no problems.

Yea of I'm correct. If you flash NDC/ND8 ROM via odin that is what will result you in a brick.

Where did you get nj3 tar for Odin?

I full restored with odin to ndc and took the ota update to nj3 then couple weeks later i Odin nj2 that i found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3007847 . there is no tar for nj3 but i restore from nj2 back.

Has anyone tried the 1-21-2015 revision? Just wondering how it is working before I make the jump from NJ3 Stock. It is too bad CM won't do an official release. But it is understandable...many move on to newer phones after a year or two.

Nope, I went to cm11 with a great lollipop theme. Cm12 still has no good camera. Plus I was having trouble with running WiFi and Bluetooth at the same time. But if you want to try it, just make a full backup in recovery. If you don't like it just restore your backup. Good as new.

CM is doing an official release once the camera drivers work out, right now thats the only thing holding them back from doing any M release or nightlies for CM12.

That is awesome news. All over the CM forum and Google+ site a lot of people claim they are not going to do an official release. I am glad you know something most do not. I am a bit happy again. This damn NJ3 stock rom is so (*&^*(%% SLOW.

The sprint one is on the same page,also one for boost too,if you look at the list of roms.

I used is from a developer who is doing t-mobile and ATT, but he also did a Sprint and boost mobile. He did the Sprint ROM with permission from the developer on your link.
