I've managed to brick my Padpone 2 due to the infamous low battery looping issue. Currently if I boot into either fastboot or recovery (power + volume up/down) the phone stays powered..but only on fastboot, if I try the same on the recovery menu I can't choose any options and the phone just reboots. if I leave it connected to a pc it will eventually stay powered on, but with invalid Kernal on the top right of the screen.
USB debugging is not enabled - my laptop recognises the phone and installs the drivers, but I cannot access any options. In fastboot I can make the phone reboot but that's it, in ADB it is unrecognised, I do get the occasional ? if I enter the devices command.
Any advice?
the obvious would be to send it back to Asus, but I only want to do that as a VERY last resort.

Anyway, I moved this to the Asus Padfone 2 All Things Root subforum where you are more likely to get some help. Where this was wouldn't have been much use to you at all.
