Hi

I just received the Lollipop update last night.

I understand that to use priority mode you press one of the volume keys and then there are 3 options - None, Priority and All.

However, i don't receive these 3 choices. What i see after pressing the volume button is a volume slider, which if moved to left turns vibration and to the right as sound.

I can switch between the 3 modes by using the button in the notifications panel. But why dont i see the 3 choices as i have seen in some online screenshots?

Missing this menu basically right?

I have exactly the same problem. My volume rocker just takes me to the old style menu that has the option to control the volume, not to select between none/priority/all!

Hoping someone finds a solution to this problem!

That menu is a generic Lollipop sound menu it is different and not shown or available on the S5, you have to goto options / device / sound and notifications / Interruptions to set your priorities. As for switching between modes, the only way to get around it is to install a sound widget/toggle off Play, i found one which switches between, all sounds on, vibrate and priority mode (for me this is effectively silent mode). Priority mode will use your settings saved in the menu path i mentioned earlier.

I have seen / read about people who have the S5 and do have the "generic Lollipop sound menu" - it seems like a bug (or bad version) for those of us that are stuck without quick access to those settings.

Will look into a widget though cheers.

Massively regretting lollipop upgrade.

I think it is the norm to be honest. The ones you have seen which are using it are probably using a custom ROM, like ironass above.

What is the name of this widget? I am so annoyed by this update.
