Hello all. Running the cricket L70 D32110c, and most of what I'm reading is suggesting to me that it is not fully cracked? Bootloader is unlockable, but no recovery?

Basically, I would like to be able to safely (as possible) start unlocking and tweaking MY phone to its fuller capabilities. I have a friend who just rooted a diff cricket phone, and had his service turned off..... i would like to avoid that as well.....

Then there's the whole backup stuff. Since recovery is not available, what is the best way to ensure I dont turn my $100 mobile couchpotato enducer into a $100 paperweight, and not have to worry about losing too much important stuff.

Remember, this is specificly for the Cricket L70 D321.

I can see WHY no one answered what did appear to be a lazy question.

But in all fairness, the l70 D321 model doesn't have its own forum on any sites really, and while I have pieced together a decent amount of information thus far, it would be nice to have somewhere to come and find updated info on specifically the l70 d321, and what we CAN do. Honestly, this is my first ever root attempt (havnt even started) but if I get this down with all the right info, I'd be willing to compile information on what WORKS for the D321.

I've come across what I've been told is the stock ROM as well, if anyone is interested. I read a few forums that were asking about that.....

Your best bet MAY be TowelRoot. Don't quote me. Do you have the KDZ for this device? And as for service termination.... Not sure how to get around that....

I've been with cricket since 2009, with rooted devices since 2011, and i've never heard mention of the possibility of service cutoff. I have the d321, and i just rooted it with towel root and installed su and busy box, and immediately just uninstalled some bloat ware and changed my cpu governor, but still use stock Rom. Sounds like this might be the level of customization you're going for.

I feel your pain about having no centralized comprehensive forum sections for this phone!

But yeah, with phone rooted but without custom recovery, it's a precarious situation to not have a complete flashable backup... TR helps but its useless if phone can't boot. So i just bought the tot and dll files and that's my plan b, with app and settings backups ready in case that happens (again) .

Well just don't mess with partitions and the KDZ is all you'll need

i was told D320/D325 roma will work???
yeah it will but only if you make a modded kernel for the D321 I guess add it to one of those roms and plus have a working recovery for it which their isn't so you'll have to google how make CWM or TWRP custom recovery for our device which I have to.

Please excuse my ignorance, but at what point would I need to mess with partitions??? I've found kdz files, but just to be sure, is this file specific to D321? How can I make sure?

Last question......

I always hear about "Make sure proper drivers for your phone are installed...." Is this relevent to me, since I'll be using towelroot, and if so, How?

Thanks for being as informative as you have. Being as I dont have a computer these days, theres zero chance I'll be taking up the task of trying to learn that. Trying to figure this phone out is enough on top of all my other projects.

With that said, that means theres no options for custom roms for me at the moment?

Ive read guides for D320 and 325, some have links to custom recoveries...... are these no good for me?

If this what I have to settle for, then sure.

Flashable backups are not possible??

Does the D321 have problems booting after root??

Use towelroot then download super su from google play store and install it. Then check with root checker if your rooted.

I was going to try the ports already built for the other variants but I didn't want to take a risk just in case their was a brick this is JustinDroid by the way just so I don't confuse you ;) its been awhile you've been on I understand you were busy. Lets go ahead and give it a try but let me know when your in front of a computer though and do you know how to set up the build environment like Java 7 JDK and the basic Linux/Ubuntu commands?

OK I have no idea where to put my question.
Please help

I have rooted with towel root.

But what I'm looking for is the ability to choose the app that the quicklaunch button opens. ( So just some extended settings or something.) Since Crickets version of this phone does not support choosing the Quicklaunch settings.

Any help?
Anyone else fixed this?
