Root [ROM][CM11][4.4.4][FOR][Exhibit][T599x]

Hello everyone. I used all the files provided by op except the Netflix-relevant ones. My data speeds became so slow to the point when sometimes I can't even load the Google page.
I got the right APN.
I've searched around and learned that it might be a bootloader/radio, modem problem or something like that.
I think the reason I had this problem is because I flashed a 4.4.4 ROM on a 4.2 or 4.3 android version w/o updating OTA to 4.4.4 first.
How can I fix this?
Thanks a lot to everyone.
My baseband version: T599NUVAMD4

Wait what? Flashing a custom rom wouldn't mess up your radio or whatever unless it was something you yourself messed with. Also the galaxy exhibit doesn't even have an official update to kitkat. If you think it's the modem you can flash the modem.bin file through odin. It's on xda. Just google sgh-t599x firmware.

I know the ROM is not at fault here.
However, I searched and found out that as the android ver. changes, so does the baseband ver.
I am planning to flash the modem.bin, but I wanted to get a more knowledgeable thought about my situation. Apart from what I suspect the problem comes from, what other factors might also be causing it? Do I have the correct baseband ver? Thank you.

The only possibilities i can think of is that you reached your data limit for the month. Flashing custom roms won't change your baseband version either unlesss you recieve an ota update specifically for data speeds, but yes that's the correct baseband.

I'm not too familiarized yet, but I've read people talking about radio/baseband and modem interchangeably. Are they the same thing? If they are, I don't think I'll be solving the problem by flashing the modem. My carrier (MetroPCS) gives me unlimited data 4G which is actually 3G. I've used way more data before and this has never happened.
I think the only course of action I can take is flash the firmware from xda and test my data speed with it.

Hi folks! I am the newbie old guy. Please accept my apologies now for my lack of knowledge for this stuff, but I need some help. So here it goes.

I recently bought this Samsung Exhibit (MetroPCS) off of Craigslist and I wanted to put the Cyanogen on it. I have been hearing so much about it. So my issues are:

1. I don't quite understand the instructions. LOL... sorry for the being the old new guy. Please, if someone has a CM for Dummies (elementary step by step) I would greatly appreciate it. :)
2. I downloaded the files to an SD card I bought for the phone, should I unzip the files on the card? When I looked at the files, some of the folders had the same name so I didn't unzip.
3. When I followed the instructions to Flash Philz via ODIN, my screen just sticks on Downloading... see image attached. This is where it all stops for me. I am lost from here.
HELP!
