I know you can use that already. So I'm just wondering if this camera issue an overall issue in lollipop 5.0. Not just for S3 but many other phones.

Reason being, with the exception of Nexus phones, the camera drivers don't exist for newer version of androids until if/when the phone officially gets an update and the driver can be taken from stock. But what DOESNT make sense is the fact that Snapchat and Open Camera can access the camera, and it works... so I guess its just a matter of time before the gap is bridged.

As long as yours is not the T varient, and you flash the apn fix it'll work

The spark model L710T, it wont work on that model.If you have that model youll have to use liquid smooths boost mobile build plus flash vm apn fix.

Got a tip from Liquid Smooth dev that Vivavideo works for recording as long as you disable other cameras( I disabled the stock camera and it works.) I'm running AICP with TGM SaberNaro. I'd like to play around with Liquid Smooth but layers aren't working yet on our device(I think)

Viva video works on some ROMs I'm testing.Also for pics try nexus camera its working great.Like I said on a different build,try it and see.

Hello guys I'm trying to look for the 5.0 PA GAPPs but I can't find it. I get 5.0.1 , but I'm not sure if many S3 Roms are on 5.0.1 right? I'm considering about moving away from touchwiz now but I'm not sure what the camera bug will effect.

Most Roms are 5.0.2 actually. But the 5.0.1 gapps are the newest. They work perfectly. 5.0.1 gapps are the ones you use on all lollipop Roms.

I use the full modular ones. That way hangouts doesn't replace the stock texting app.

Liquid lollipop is great. But layers theming is not very functional. Octos L is what I'm using now. It has the cm theme engine.pretty stable.

No idea as i don't run Liquid at the moment....and I'm not on Lollipop either...but i didn't get that on any Oct-L build when i was on Lollipop...

to me yes it was better but I'm patently waiting for them to fix a few things which include rotation, and battery issues before i use it as a daily driver....which i am a tester for team Octos....so I'll be one of the first people to know lol

Well I could never get my phone to last that long. I only get 8 hours max lol
