That is entirely up to you any kitkat gapps package will do. You can either use the gapps for cm11 or you can use one of the many pa gapps packages available. I use the cm11 gapps myself cause I don't like lollipoop or its material design. If you feel the same I'd suggest the cm11 gapps. If you like the material design and want the most up to date gapps use pa gapps.

Also... The big plus with this ROM ..CM11 themes...

There are dozens of em..alot of are free.. Mostly the light versions are free...

But, you can become a theme junky......

I've installed and uninstalled to the gills... They don't trip the storage warning . Till you've reached slow space ... when you gone past smart space use.... I've been there... It's stupid slow..

Most are almost all black... Some are just a style with no sounds or a fancy bootanimation.......

Variations of lollipop.... All cool colors...

It trumps Go Launcher in the theme department.... And you can mix and match theme stuffs..this sound.. Those icons.... This boot animation....that font.......

It puts xthemes to shame... Because they are CM11 clones.. Ports..

I actually ran out of storage installing themes....

Fuster cluck is cool.. Caper...holo glass which I wish was a complete theme...

Found one named Vue that has a separate obb file... Can't wait to flash CARBON again to try it..

that and j blue ice.. that has a companion app to change the color scheme of the whole theme supposedly....

Even the hello Kitty theme is cool...lol...hahaa...... So I don't care if it's pink... It's cool

Oh I also forgot that battery life totally suck under lollipop I have to charge my battery twice a day where as under kitkat I could almost make it 2 days on one battery.

You mean that when you try to turn the screen on the button backlights come on but the screen stays black and the phone reboots? We call this bug the black screen of death lol.

A way to keep this from happening as often is to raise the minimum CPU frequency to 486 or 594mhz and disable the CRT screen off animation in settings/carbon fibers/display.

I raised the minimum speed to 594mhz and disabled CRT animation and I almost never get random reboots or black screen of death. The only time it happened to me after applying these fixes I was playing music at max volume and extracting the contents of a ROM zip while rapidly turning the screen on and off at the same time.
Edit: I kind of exaggerated there cause it still happens every once in a while but only when there are multiple tasks running in the background.
