Now I am confused. This log is fubar. The date is WAY off. The recovery type is wrong. The contents don't tell me what I was looking for. There are errors, but I am unsure if they are related. One question, was the last thing you did with the recovery a factory reset or a flash via flashify?

The last thing I did with this cwm recovery was a factory reset.

I tried to flash twrp in flashify and fastboot but either method still doesnt fix the problem. I cant boot into twrp using the button combo... but using quick boot works fine

I know when I first started compiling twrp back when, I had the problem of holding the buttons too long trying to get into twrp and wouldn't be able to get into it. Cwm seems to not care if you hold both buttons too long, but twrp is a little picky. What I do now is power completely down, hold volume down and power, then as soon as I see the factory reset image I let go of power and keep holding volume down until twrp boots.

You probably already know this, but I figured I'd still throw it out there.

I used to think I had problems with the button combo... Turns out it was my case would press both vol up and down if I didn't press it just right.. Felt like such an idiot when I realized:oops:

Can you please send me a screen shot of what you mean? It would be greatly appreciated.
