Root CM12.1 Unofficial Beta

I turned on traditional tabs in chrome to fix that issue. The lollipop cards are annoying for browsing anyway.
I had done this to no affect. CM Browser fixed the issue.

Update: might be GPS related. When visiting maps.google.com with High accuracy location enabled, I get a restart even in CM Browser. GPS with no high accuracy location, no restart. I haven't tried the GPS fix yet.

I am, however, trying to figure out how to get the gps and camera to work on the recent CM12 roms. There are fixes to be found if you read through this thread. There are a number of lg volts out there which won't work even with the posted fixes, I have one of those volts, so hopefully I can figure something out that works for mine and it will potentially work for others here.
@jfuginay, I would love to help you try to solve this issue. I apparently also have one of the stubborn Volt variants. :p. I was wondering if it would help to update the vendor blobs using my Volt as the donor phone. My current theory is that the vendor blobs being used on the current builds are incompatible with our cameras. If it would help, I would gladly try to create a new vendor tree for our Volts. But would that work?
To really test this out, I would ask @Bad_MOFO_33 to give access to the device tree and kernel sources being used for the latest builds (I don't think the ones on Github have been updated, but correct me if I'm wrong). I would then be able to compile a new build on my machine.
Hopefully this will get us closer to solving these issues!

These are the trees used in the last build.
Havent updated anything because I need to get a new computer. My old one dumped out. Using an old Dell now, does the job but very slow.
Kernel use cm11_msm8226_defconfig, also added fastchg(untested)
Anyway goodluck

Hey guys, if your Volt can't get LTE and you are annoyed by the signal drops, just change your preferred network type to 3G, this solved the signal drop for me 100%, but still no LTE sadly.

I'm on zv5 with a Boost Mobile model. And I'm also at Rev.1.0.
Does your rear camera/GPS work in CM12?

I haven't tried CM12 yet, or any other rom for that matter. I've just been sitting on zv3 this whole time. But yea, I was hoping people could use this to identify why some are having issues and some aren't, if it really is a difference in hardware that's causing problems.

I have Hardware Rev 1.0 on ZV5. I'm on Virgin Mobile and have no rear camera or GPS on CM12.

Excellent! Everything is working.. Stock camera is still working flawlessly. I had one force close when opening the gallery, but only the first time. The only other thing I've noticed is the clock started out on military time... Lol, but that isn't even worth reporting. Thanks again for all your time and effort.

Xposed is working too[emoji1]
