Root [CDMA] Get ready for OTA's!

I know that after I flashed the partition updater and tried to flash a 4.4.4. rom, it screwed my phone so bad it took over a day for me to fix it.... I dunno if flashing stock 4.4.4. will make a difference though.
Not sure what 4.4.4 you were flashing, but the stock roms I made don't mess with the partitions at all so if they don't work it is just a matter of rebooting to recovery and flashing the other working stock rom.

Well, how did it go?
I made a backup before doing anything I downloaded 4.4.4 stock for boost mobile I wiped everything and I tried to install the stock 4.4.4 ROM but it doesn't do anything the blue loading bar just sits ...I'm using cwm touch 6.0.4.7....so I restored my backup and now when I reboot the phone its stuck at the warning unlocked bootloader screen

Well, if the 4.4.4 stock rom flashed successfully and won't boot, I guess you have your answer. Just boot back into cwm and restore your backup.

oh, if it won't flash it is likely because of the recovery. I am guessing it says something like "this is for a xt1031, you have an xt103x". Try the new cwm swipe 6.0.5.1.

edit: the cwm flashable will not flash either if you got the error i mentioned with the stock 4.4.4
I flashed your cwm swipe i tried to install the stock 4.4.4 zip still wont flash so i restored my backup with your recovery but when I reboot its still stuck at the warning boot loader unlocked screen

If I were you, I would reboot to recovery, go into mounts, format system, data, cache, then flash the 5.0.2 stock rom again.

I just noticed something i downloaded a stock 4.4.4 ROM from XDA ...I just noticed u have a rooted stock ROM and unmodified stock ROM...can I install one of the stock Roms via fastboot from PC ?
I don't know anything about the rom you downloaded from xda. The roms I created can only be flashed through custom recovery.

@eric, SuperR all zip are recovery flashable, for fast boot flash you need zip from Motorola or someone who converted dump to flashable set of img.
For you best option is to wipe fully including system , data then flash 5.0.2 via any recovery.
By the way I always used twrp 2.7.1.1 and never face any flashing issue. I dont care about flickering as it is not a big issue.

Just a quick note, someone of great repute for a Map From Nowhere (you can figure it out [emoji6] )says 5.0.2 will likely be scrapped in favor of 5.1.X across the board for currently supported devices.

I heard the same thing. My ex's brother works for what is left of Motorola Mobility and he and I were talking. They are scrapping 5.0.2 and pushing forward with 5.1. He said there will be a months delay when compared to 5.0.2

Also, if you are at all like me and testing Windows 10, do not try to install a custom recovery or try to push a ROM while the phone is connected to the Windows 10 computer. You will brick your phone and give yourself a migraine fixing it. And on top of it the Motorola drivers will not install properly.
I did all you said and never faced issue either with moto mtp or adb / fastboot .
But soon after win updated , windows broke on me and had to format particular PC partition [emoji23] [emoji23]

Thanks, I will keep this. I am however thinking about just dealing with the ripple because I really do like the options Philz offers.
Just built PhilZ Touch 6.59.0. Has no screen glitch and the menus work. I will not be testing this one further so please give feedback. If everything works, and it should, I will make a new thread for it :)
