Im loving my new S6 Edge. But last night I noticed something surprising.
For all that's been made about the beautiful design of this phone and the premium materials finally being used I've noticed something very cheap looking about the phone. I noticed it somewhat in the day but after using it in bed last night with the lights off it was much more pronounced.
This is the first time I've gone with a white phone. Maybe they all do it (?) but the white edges around the screen light up a bit.
In the day I was able to see some light behind the edges on either side of the screen. But in the dark it noticeably surrounds the whole screen; the white plastic lighting up in a greenish yellow color. It reminds me of a glow worm. Looks kinda cheap. I dont think you should be able to see the white part of your phone letting any light through from behind it.
I dont know if iPhones do this or not. I dont know if this is something only the edge does that the regular S6 does not? Maybe it should be expected that the light color plastic is going to let some light come through? Dont know. I just found it surprising that my expensive phone with "premium" materials was looking like a glow worm...
Has anyone else noticed this?
