Help Phone stuck in Clockwork Mod Recovery

Hey I've got a question about folder sizes.

I've been trying to download some files (all are under 60 kb) and there seems to be a file cap at 21,845 items.

This is probably more of a Windows problem but even on ES File Explorer, I am unable to add any more files.

Are you aware of this problem and is there a way around it? I still need to be able to fit another 2,000 odd files.

Thanks!

Sob :(

It isn't that big of a deal though, just files for a game.

And btw, do you still remember that I had to get a OTG-USB to flash my files because adb-sideloading didn't work?

It turns out that I was a dummy and I didn't even download the universal drivers onto my PC in the first place. :p

Could you quickly go through and help me install them now? Thanks.

Nope.

The bootloader enforces encrypted signature security protection - s-on - for a number of partitions such as radio firmware and the bootloader itself.

S-off removes that and is generally a good thing - I always go for it.

Your phone however is past the support lifetime so there are no radio updates coming. You'd be incurring risk of getting s-off (possibly without support - it's been over 2 years since the phone had active users doing it) and no tangible benefits at this point.

Here's the procedure, up to you -

Without it, you may have to occasionally do a fastboot flash boot boot.img for a new rom but otherwise, you're not going to see a material benefit at this point.

Pls refer to my post as to why I undertook this process, During my trial and error I tried installing one of the latest android versions, 1 failed, most launched with problems. In the end I read and re-read CyanogenMod cm.11 android 4.4.4. It does everything I could need it to do. Please remember the HTC ONE X (the software I installed even exceeds the US version of the phone) isn't a new phone and was quite tricky to do, diferent roms required the process done is very slightly but very important ways. Personally other than just wanting the most current OS (in which case buy a never phone) Android 4.4.4 is completely sufficient.

Hey EarlyMon, it's been a while :p

Just got one question, I'm trying to get my phone back to stock but I don't think I can because "version-main" is missing from my phone. Is this correct?

This is my getvar:

(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 2.15.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: 1.38a.32.45.24
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main:
(bootloader) version-misc: PVT SHIP S-ON
(bootloader) serialno: HT25KW314884
(bootloader) imei: 352228050245241
(bootloader) product: evita
(bootloader) platform: HBOOT-8960
(bootloader) modelid: PJ8312000
(bootloader) cidnum: TELST001
(bootloader) battery-status: good
(bootloader) battery-voltage: 3873mV
(bootloader) partition-layout: Generic
(bootloader) security: on
(bootloader) build-mode: SHIP
(bootloader) boot-mode: FASTBOOT
(bootloader) commitno-bootloader: dirty-de589c6e
(bootloader) hbootpreupdate: 11
(bootloader) gencheckpt: 0

Am I stuck on custom OS's forever? :/

BTW finally flashed ViperROM and it's sweet! :)
