Help Is there any app to unlock screen easily?

Hi,

Is there any app to unlock the screen of HTC droid Incredible 2? To unlock the screen every time I have to push the power button, which I fear it may spoil the button. So, guys please suggest me any other way to unlock my phone (HTC droid Incredible 2) screen.

Use magiclocker to use the volume buttons to wake the screen and screen off & lock icon on the homescreen to lock it, totally bypassing the need for the physical power button.

Have used screen off and lock for several months (your second link) and it has worked great. I even put an invisible icon on my home screen to make it less obtrusive. After reading this thread I tried the tap tap app as it seemed pretty cool, but after using tap tap for a few days it seems to work better in theory than in practice. It works by tapping....or actually just waving your hand over...the proximity sensor. I could never get the tap to work but not sure if that was because of my cover. And the waving was kind of hit and miss. Even trying out all the three sensitivity options it was still hit or miss and I was forever turning off the screen by accident when using the phone. Oh well, back to screen off and lock.

Sweet. The Screen Off and Lock app is perfect. Needed this since my Power button doesn't work anymore. Currently using No Lock to wake up w/ volume buttons.

Now if I could just get that to work w/o making the android beep sound.
